Just wanted to sneak on here & say let this be the thread when I and my fellow small-panters have our bfp's!

Yes come on small panters!

Brilliant news about 4ever's scan and maybe a "pink" one. I'm getting a bit intrigued now as to what sex mine is, I really haven't a clue though everyone thinks its a boy cos we call it "The George", that's really only cos I don't like "it", fetus and embryo are far too clinical and "baby" has always seems a bit too much like counting my chickens before they've hatched!!

The George has hiccups again - how weird does that feel?!

Come on Blue - push!!

littlebellsmum · 22/12/2009 20:26

MLS of course it will be and if babyblue gets a move on, we could be christening it with a new arrival - how exciting!!

neeko hope you have finished now - you must be exhausted. Having said that I had my dc's all day today and think work is easier.

4ever lovely to hear your good news - is that 16 or 17 weeks for you now? And possibly a pink one...

Well we finally told our dc's tonight and whilst my dd didn't actually explode, it looked like she might! She said " really" and looked pointedly at my tummy which is a bit porky but that's about all and I had to tell her yes and it would grown bigger. Even DS semed excited, especially about being a big brother and wanted to tell his best friend immediatly. DD is planning to share her news at the first show and tell back at school!! Anyway, they went off to bed trying to think of names - which was causing dd some stress and DS said that he couldn't do it any more as his brain had " clicked off"!!!

So - we are seeing some friends tomorrow and mil is arriving ( weather willing) so I don't expect it will be long before DD starts telling everyone she sees!!

Love to everyone - need to go and wrap dc's presents. I've even got DH to help as there are that many!!

So excited for Blue that I had a burst of nervous energy which I put to good use in housework A few less jobs to do tomorrow. Hope her labour is quick and relatively easy. It's a year to the day since her 2nd MC so it would be nice if she could eradicate that horrible memory with a positive one.

MLS Can I be a little excited for you? It sounds quite promising. This has to be your thread.

Gracie Glad you're sounding a bit more rested. Hope the George has stopped hiccuping (sp?)It is such a strange feeling.

LBM Loved reading about you telling the kids. So pleased that they are happy but if they're anything like my DD it'll be a long few months. She keep asking if the baby's grown yet.

Vjay Thanks for the new thread and congrats to your sis. Fab news.

Barbie happy maternity leave

Jools feel better soon.

I was supposed to be at my Xmas night out but decided not to go due to the weather. Turns out it was cancelled anywayso may get my money back - hurrah!

3 sleeps to go. Difficult to say whether DD or I will burst with excitement 1st!! Night all.

Meant to say again to 4ever fab news on the scan, and extra lovely that you might know the flavour.

My heartburn has hit hard today. it'll be a gaviscon tablet in the cheek for me tonight. LBM I also used to wake with it half
disolved - yuck!

Love the new thread....do you realise with each new thread we start at least 2 of us gets a bfp? So come on girls who is next Mls tiny bit excited for you....

4ever a girls must be such a huge relief now all the nasty scans are out of the way...the next few are just to watch baby4ever, enjoy! Oh and i hope the colds both you and dh have go soon {envy} of you watching films on the sofa and being all christmassy....

gg whats going on with you missy? do they think baby might be early? are you being monitored? i know how you feel about knowing the sex....there have been times that i really really want to know, however im telling myself it will help e get through the intense pain of labour because i so want to met him or her i will try to push faster

blue are you in the labour ward?????

neeko thankfully i dont suffer from heart burn, but the ladies in the ante natal class tell me its horrid...nice to hear you so excited about christmas, i have very little entusiasum (sp?) for the big day, prehapes cos its 25 degrees and sunny...just doesnt feel right
ps what does the baby hic cups feel like? not sure if babybarbie has had them?

mermaid how are you honey, i hope you are taking things a little easy, be careful in all that ice!

lbm so exciting that you have finally told your dc, bless ds for saying his brain has clicked off....think i might use that excuse for all my mishaps!

jools thanks for the link...how are you feeling? I like knowing that you are going to have a happy christmas and things are looking up for dp and yourself..i heart happyjools vjay thanks for the new thread, great job...sorry baby vjay has kept you awake for a few days, hope he settles soon

Well girls im jobless....
Was looking forward to a lie in but as always woke up 'work time' and dh convince me to walk the dog with him...His family are arriving about now. They should of been here yesterday morning but due to adverse weather the flight was overbooked or something and they asked 25 people to forfit the flight for the next one and in return they get a night in a hotel, a meal and a free return flight any where in the world! so they took that offer and now have 5 return tickets to use....Carnage however will start in about 1.5 hours when they enter the building.

I have my 32 week checkup today, and im going to ask her to tell me position and measure baby as neither has been done for me yet ...

Oh and the main subject at ante natal this week was.........

peranium massage (sp?) (sick face) this subject was bought up by none other than my dh, who wanted to know in detail all about it....its worse than i imagened
Dh then embarressed me further by announcing in the supermarket that the huge bottle of olive oil he had in his hands would be great for my peranium massage! Im sure i heard a man snigger as his wife next to me blushed more than me!

May i wish everyone a very merry christmas just in case i cant post so much over the next few days.

May your christmas be a fun filled, happy one...make the most of love ones, big or small and be grateful for those we are lucky enough to have around us.
May the new year be full of bfp's, bouncing babies and general friendship and laughter on this tread...long may the handholding and hairstroking continue on this road know as weebledom!

Love to you all......

Oh dear....first it was 4ever worrying about protein in her wee wee and now its me have been to the doctors and there is some in my urine along with a +2 wbc count, which when asked means white blood cell, not sure of the implications of this but thankfully the doctor didnt seem to bothered. Although im sure nothing is bothering her at the mo cos she just told me she dislikes dubai and will be leaving before my next appt in 2 weeks time....Im hoping my lovely midwife will step in and take over my care from now. Couldnt even get measured or listen to baby heart beat. Oh well.....

What lovely news to log in to - welcome little blue

Barbie - when your white blood count is up, it means your body is fighting off an infection but it could be a very mild one. I had a wbc of over 400 when I had gastroenteritis (suspected c-diff) a couple of years ago.

Having a sofa day here - feeling quite grotty - cold is manageable but it is the tiredness and spaced out feeling that goes with it that is really strange - I'm sleeping a LOT - silver lining is I'm finally sleeping through the night

Don't think I've ov'ed yet, but we haven't bd'ed either - just not feeling up to it. It might be for the best - I haven't actually taken folic acid for around 3 months - so will probably consider any action this cycle as a bonus and stay relaxed till the New Year. My money is on MLS for the Christmas BFP

I was soo happy to get Blue's text.I was really worried. I'd clearly be a hopeless birthing partner I'm so pleased for her Welcome to the world baby Benjamin. Bet your big brother is over the moon. Imagine the presents in the Blue house next Christmas!

Vjay Hope Ajay slept better last night.

Barbie I wouldn't worry if your doc isn't. Hope you have a lovely Christmas with you ILs and they all admire your bump. I had a Barbiemoment this morning. Caught sight of myself in the mirror out of the corner of my eye and thought we had an intruder! My heart almost burst out my chest. Idiot! P.S. Hiccups just feel like regular kiks in the same place over the course of ten mins or so.

Jools Hope you feel better soon. Won't really do any harm if you only start taking folic acid now

I've done the Xmas food shop and feel all destressed now. DD has two playdates today and I've already eaten too much cake which is not helping the heartburn. Might move onto the ice-cream next.

I was in our local Spar last night and they had a huge display of mini eggs which made me think of when I first found you all. (And probably contributed to half of my comfort-eating stone!) Just wanted to thank you all again for helping me keep my sanity almost since March.
If I don;t get on tomorrow, I wish you all a very happy Christmas and hope you get to spend it with those you love most. Take care. xxx

Thanks Neeko for texting me the wonderful news today & making me cry in WHSmith! I'm so happy for Blue I'm smiling from ear to ear. I'm sorry you didn't get your vbac but hey - at least your fanjo is still intact!

Jools I know you are very in tune with your cycle but I really would recommend temping. I've been doing it since Sept last year & have found it invaluable especially since using Fertility Friend for the last few months. Not only does it pinpoint my ov day it also tells me how well timed the days (or day!) I bd'd were & gives me the percentage based on my symptoms on my likelihood of being pregnant each month.

Barbie I'm afraid your dh is right when it comes to perineum massage. I did it from about 36 weeks & was the only one out of my NCT group not to have any nasty tears & stitches. There were a couple of them who had third degrees tears which involves both your fanjo & your back passage. You can even have a fourth degree tear which means..... actually I don't think you need to hear the gory details but needless to say I think it would be a bit nippy! So the moral of my story is massage, massage, massage!!

4ever lovely to get a long & positive post from you & glad you are no longer worried about the protein. There are bound to be other things that crop up & worry you but just keep posting it & I'm sure it'll all be stuff that those of us who are lucky enough to have already had a successful pregnancy have been through.

I won't say Merry Christmas to you all yet as I'm bound to be back later!

beautiful posts from everyone, i would also like to express my gratitude for everyones help and support through some awful times and some joyous times. without you all i think i would be in a padded cell somewhere!

doubt i will get on now before Christmas, and probably not for a while after due to visiting and having family over, so i wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year whatever sized pants you happen to be wearing

Just realised that today is / was my EDD - what a good day for Babyblue to arrive

Ovulating now - can feel it. Lemsip max has kicked in and DP has just got in .....

MLS - yes, I use FF, but I don't temp - just over-ride to tell it my ov day. To be honest, we've only really successfully done the deed at what I think is exactly the right for probably 8 or 10 cycles and, out of those, I've been PG after 3 of them and had a suspected CP after at least 2. So, I think I am getting the timing right - it is everything else that is the problem !

Fingers crossed this is the thread for the rest of us

Moon - I'd have been there with you in that padded cell

Still thinking positive thoughts for Mermaid and mentally supporting any wobbling weebles here Just off to pour myself a Baileys, take some folic acid and settle down to watch Spooks, having done ALL my wrapping today !

you know at really good partes there is always some numpty sitting on the stairs crying?

when 4ever wrote how she cried sadness with one eye and happy tears with the other eye sums today up.
Yesterday just after writing about pains in my stomach I began bleeding heavily and I havn't stopped since.

I was going to wait until after Christmas cos I couldn't bear the thought of upsetting you all but then I know we have all been here for each other through thick and thin.
So I am sitting surrounded by sodding tinsel and festive pap feeling a triffle numb and may not be around a lot cos the sofa is comfy and dh has stapled me to it.

I just am not meant to have any more children and I feel that I tried everything. The dr and epu have all been so fantastic, so I feel better about it in one sense. The rest will come when the hormones crash I expect.

I'm really sorry to crush a christmas miracle cos on Monday it really did feel so much like one.

blue I truly form the bottom of my heart am so very pleased for your news today.

Love you all heaps and heaps. xx
