dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp blush) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:30:36

thankyou lissie! It was/is my downfall.

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:30:56

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 14:33:38

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:41:01

i almost feel mean for feeling happy sometimes, dykwim?

Well i don't know how ttc works after mc? guess i just carry on doing whatever we want and see? Will i ov in first cycle?

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 14:45:30

probably, i find that a few cycles post-mc are quite erratic with either early or late ov. but theres no such thing as normal in these circs.

BennyAndSwoon Mon 16-Feb-09 14:46:59

I'm not TTC (all done with that)

Just wanted to pop in and say the best of luck to you both smile

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:47:37

and NO early testing! Am going to wait a week longer than normal, then do it. Will be obvious by then.

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 14:49:23

thank you benny grin

scorpio, i never test early now. unfortunately i have to test on CD28 because of my history, and again after my period, but i refuse to test earlier!

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:50:30

Well im going to wait until cd40. so there.

grin

(normally get BFP on like cd32)

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 14:52:23

wow Scorpio, thats impressive. if you are tempted just think of the stats!

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 14:57:42

Please refer me to this thread in a motnh or so. ta muchly grin

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 15:01:11

no problem! im in the dreaded 2ww, but not holding out much hope. got a bit of backache last night and period is due in 7d.

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 15:02:11

aghh, 2ww. I'm cd8 - a week ago i was sat in the doctors screeching sad. Testing, when, then lissie?

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 15:06:06

oh sweet sad

testing next monday i think. lost tube at 6+4 so cant afford to hang round really.

spugs Mon 16-Feb-09 15:18:27

hiya scorpio i lost a baby at 6+4 weeks (i think we were on the ttc thread together). at my follow up scan they told me i was oving and we started trying straight away before my first af. didnt catch but did the next month. weve now got a lovely 10 1/2 mth old grin. i couldnt wait to test mind and found out about her when i was 3+6 weeks which ment i felt like i was pregnant forever! good luck for this month (you too lissie) x

ScorpiowithabigS Mon 16-Feb-09 15:33:54

spugs thats lovely i found out about the other baby at 3+6 too; really dont want to early test next time!

lissielou Mon 16-Feb-09 15:55:04

thanks spugs. i tend to get bfp's quite early on so its particularly hard for me to hold off. but i have to for my own sanity!

lissielou Tue 17-Feb-09 08:43:32

well, 6d til period is due, currently 8dpo and this is the tough part. going up town later so shall be avoiding boots methinks!

ScorpiowithabigS Tue 17-Feb-09 14:32:59

Lissie you better not have gone in boots!

lissielou Tue 17-Feb-09 16:26:22

nope, you will be v proud of me. didnt even look at it!

but did get some nice new undies wink

ScorpiowithabigS Tue 17-Feb-09 16:30:54

good, even better you didnt even look grin

in our boots the tests and condoms etc are right by the till, so a little embarassing, especially as such a small place you are bound to know someone in there!

Have just worked out if my cycle stays the same, i could get BFP whilst DH is away in April (2nd cycle). eeek. Am never that lucky though!

lissielou Tue 17-Feb-09 17:31:08

you never know Scorpio, keeping everything crossed for you!!
