Hi ladies mind if I join? I'm 27 and dn is 44, having my coil out tomorro so we can start ttc baby 1 :-) xx

kitkat - I've only had one 2ww so far as on cycle 2 now. Last month I was convinced I was pg as I was exactly 2 weeks late
Turns out my body was tricking me and throwing in a random 42 day cycle
I tested 4 times over the 2 weeks I was late and all came back with negatives. With each one I got less and less excited and had decided by the 4th that I def wasn't pg anyway, just odd!

wakey - totally agree. Really thought it was just a case of stopping the pill and waiting.

Yea if anyone has an info on that let me no im going off some foods getting full quickly feeling a bit sick and getting cramping

Vicky and blue.. My friend knew she was pg after 2 days... Pg no 5 tho after 4 prev mc... So kind of knew what to look for.. What sort of symptoms? X

No I'm afraid I've never smoked so can't help with that one.

Yeah me too blue... My biggest problems are smoking and full fat coke smoked my last real cig at midday and do wants me to try and cut down on the coke ( in all fairness I do drink 6 cans a day)! Want to try and lose a little weight but dh doesn't agree.. I'm 5'5 and 10st x

I'm trying to quit smoking. Last time I quit as soon as I found out i was pg (mega surprise after condom and map) but started again after I MC'd.
DP isn't pressuring me to give up right now but I am cutting down loads.

Lol wakey... I prob should have made the coke comment more clear . Dh is pushing me to stop so I best had or he will withhold dtd lol. I've bought an electronic one and so far it's helping x

I have given up smoking this is week 4 now but with every bfn I fancy one a bit more! as finding it hard not too give in when I think I'm not preg( that's the only reason I said I would ever quit lol) I enjoy em far too much to quit for my own health

Setay sorry on the bfn if it wasn't for wanting to get of there's no way would I be giving up so I can sympathise totally xx

I don't think I have ovulated at all this month so far so just waiting for AF to arrive next to start again.
Was delightful at work when my phone went off with a pop up saying 'your period will start soon' always a good thing for your colleagues to see!!

Hello, I have no reason to join this thread as I already have my 2 children but I wanted to say good luck to everyone and can I just point out that the clear blue ovulation kit is very expensive.

I got an ovulation predictor kit online 8 years ago (I have endometriosis so my cycle was anything from 26 to 42 days) I just peed in a pot and dipped the predictor strip in. It told me whether I would ovulate within the next 24 hours.

I can't remember how much it was but a quick google has shown me that the ones out there are much cheaper than the clear blue ones.

I haven't used the clear blue ones yet, got them off amazon, afraid of wasting them if I don't ovulate.
Until my afs get more regular I don't think I'll bother as font want to waste the money.
Didn't ever really think about them until I joined MN.

Pixie where did you get your electronic cig?

I'm debating whether or not to get a opk.. Will see what happens in the next couple of months.... Wakey I had it in sainsburys.. It's £4.99 and I the equivalent of 30 real cigs but you can get the re chargeable ones too so that's my next purchase tomorro x

Just had a quick look online so I'll have a browse of the shops tomorrow. Might give me what I need to quit!
