Sorry, I know I should have tagged it/ put it in TIW etc. Can't have been a troll, totally banal thing to lie about, surely?

Oh yeah Brock, I was following that too, I think I might have even posted on it. There were pages and pages of it. I think everyone was waiting for an update on a phone call that was going to be made by the OP's dh when I went to bed. TBH there was so much of it I didn't read it all in the end.

Maybe it was a troll, but as you say a bit of a weird thing to lie about.

Thanks. Well, makes me feel better that someone out there has a duller life than I do to want to make this stuff up!

The op said the call was made.

There was a shit storm.

The op needed me.

Then....nothing. nada. Zilch.

Left us all hanging like a,load of grey pants on the washing line.

Wtf? The op needed wine!! Wine!! Not me.

Jeez!

Ah I see. Thanks for the link Dixie.

How odd. Why would anyone bother making that up.

If she was a troll she was a damn good one. Look at the frenzy of excitement on that thread.

Grey pants on the washing line indeed. Grin

I'm still hopeful of an update clutches straws

Troll or not, I'd still have liked to read the end of the saga.

It's like getting to the last chapter in a book and finding someone has ripped the pages out.

I think one of the parents of 3 year old found the thread.
= shitstorm

It's weird
No update from hq
No outraged thread from op wanting to update
Thread is still there so presumably not been seen by parties or definitively troll

fastdaytears · 02/09/2015 08:26

So weird. I agree with Alison. The whole thing would be very easily identifiable.

Lurking as I want to know the outcome too and like a pp I don't much care if it's true

I would like an ending, even if it was just a story.

Yup, even if she was a troll, she could at least continue to exercise her creative writing skills to come up with a satisfactory ending

But...but...it's just such an untrolly story.
