Thread 19

As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

If you're in the London area then consider signing up to the met polices Christmas gift donation scheme info here . I did it last year and am again this year and found it interesting if nothing else visiting a police station to drop the gift off!

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit and they currently have an offer where you will get a free £5 m&s voucher (I believe).

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Thanks for the new thread!

My nectar points bonus has gone Sad. As of this morning my points are back down to the £13 I expected.

So I probably won't be going to the 25% off sale. And I also must not spend any more money. Unless it's a very good bargain! Grin

spub · 29/11/2016 07:50

Thanks, ReastieBrewCake

Admiralclingus · 29/11/2016 07:52

My bonus points have yet to be added from any of rhe vouchers and stuff I used at nectar so I also won't be going to sainsburys this morning!

HungryHorace · 29/11/2016 07:57

Last year they gave 50% of the double up points back, but I can't remember how long it took. I'm hoping they do it again though!

HungryHorace · 29/11/2016 08:03

I just searched my emails and I got 2000 points as a thank you on 2nd December last year.

lazzaroo · 29/11/2016 08:14

I realise I am an idiot for deciding this the day afte Black Friday (weekend!) but am beginning to think about getting a tablet for each of my kids. Avoided it until now, but they are 7 and 4 and they would probably now get more out of one. Is fire kids the way to go or does a regular fire do the job (& seems considerably cheaper?!).

Any advice muchly appreciated!

TobleroneBoo · 29/11/2016 08:16

Looking for a PS4 controller ( not black or white) in a good deal if anybody has seen any?
Thanks

margaritasbythesea · 29/11/2016 08:23

Thank you Reastie.

They're not on offer but I can recommend these M and S leather gloves to someone with a woman to buy for. The price is good at £17.50 and they look really nice. I just got them for my MIL.

SideOrderofSprouts · 29/11/2016 08:24

Morning and thank you

Mama1980 · 29/11/2016 08:30

Morning all thanks for the new thread BrewCake

SweetPeaPods · 29/11/2016 08:32

Marking please. Work seemed to get in the way of the last 2 threads.

SweetPeaPods · 29/11/2016 08:35

Lazzaroo I have got my 2dc the kindle fire 7. It was still £29.99 when I last checked. John Lewis were doing a 2 year warranty not sure about Amazon. I'm going to get an extra tough case for it. IMO it wasn't worth paying extra for the kids version.

LBOCS2 · 29/11/2016 08:37

Thank you for the new thread Reastie Star

I'm off to Sainsbury's this morning to try and find some of these Mumsnet-approved jeans I keep hearing about.

I need to sort out the cupboard under the stairs to see where I am with present buying. I think that I'm basically done for the DC (apart from their stockings) but have DSis and DH to buy for.

Theonlyoneiknow · 29/11/2016 08:42

Thanks reastie Flowers

gruffaloshmuffalo · 29/11/2016 09:03

Morning! I'm pretty much done, but starting to get twitchy

Mummyreindeerlegz · 29/11/2016 09:06

I also am here for the twitch. Still trying to source a mini nes for dh. Feels pretty unlikely!

FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/11/2016 09:10

Learn On The Loo book from The Works £2.

Looks like a good stocking filler for those that like to spend ages on the loo, they might learn something whilst there !

A 10% off pop up came up on the website too

coolpattern · 29/11/2016 09:39

Check your Zeek accounts, I had a £5 bonus for Cyber Monday, so I used it again for Debenhams vouchers and saved about £10 off a new coat for DH. If you haven't signed up yet for Zeek vouchers, I really do recommend it, they keep sending me free money! My referral link is www.zeek.me/promo/uk/?value=5&code=2IEHG65A

Also, Amazon Warehouse automatically a 20% discount to an order this morning, which brought down a Nerf gun from £45 on the regular Amazon site to around £30 on the Warehouse deals.

I'm still looking for a Bosch washing machine....has anyone seen any good deals?

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 29/11/2016 09:41

No deals to share this morning - need to take a look in all the boxes I have to see what I've actually ordered! Have a feeling I still have some shopping to do!

Thekidsthatpukedxmas · 29/11/2016 09:56

For anyone that missed the Book People promotions, use code 15EXTRA for 15% off all orders (no minimum spend), but you will still need to spend £25 to qualify for free delivery

coolpattern Thanks for the Zeek referral. I've just used it, got my £5 and here is my link below for anyone else who wants to join. It will get you £5 off your first purchase. I just bought a Tesco gift card. I'm always spending money there, so it should be useful!
