I bought him a PS4 as it was on offer. I spoiled the surprise by checking I was getting the right thing (as I didn't have a clue). He's got it early so now I'll get him something very small to open. No idea what.

Instead of buying each other stuff we're spending it on a nice dinner out in Christmas day.

I have managed to get my hands on an natural dyed indigo bed throw that I think he will love.
I also brought him tickets for the cure, (I actually got these last year) and will buy pants/socks/toblerone and a new record, perhaps Bon Iver

So far, a new green shirt and shoes. Not sure what else yet as his birthday is in 2 weeks and for that, I've got him a lovely navy blue short and shoes (he needs new clothes!), a new Xbox game when it comes out (Battlefield 1, I think?!) And his favourite chocolates. We are not going overboard but I feel like it should be quite special before we become parents because next year will be more about the baby.

Fitbit blaze.... He'd love a ps4 but I just can't manage it. Dec is expensive with his birthday at start and then Xmas (and planning early as due date for dc1 falls between the two this year...

I'm not brilliant at choosing things for him and have had many disasters over the years. However I really know what suits him fragrance wise and I love buying him new ones. Have been known to chase other men down if they smell nice and ask what they are wearing. So will get him some nice aftershave. Also a sonos speaker for the dining room as we have spent too much money this year and are only getting each other things we really need as big gift will do the usual stocking this year with socks, skincare, chocolate and little treats.

iPhone 7. Bit of an accidental gift and he knows so will get it early (don't ask)

Super NES mini
Bose in ear sports headphones
Some other consumables - sweets, underwear, smellies, skincare type things.

Wireless headphones
iPad stand for bed
SAD light

He's 31 if that makes any difference

I bought him a surprise PS4 last year, so that's him done until 2030 Grin

I like the 'night in at the movies' hamper idea, I think he'd like something like that.
