Stocking fillers for 3yo DD please help

TessTackle · 24/09/2013 13:10

My DD will turn three a month before Christmas so I have most of her big presents (meaning not pyjamas hair clips etc) sorted but I'm at a loss as to what to fill her stocking with.

I picked up a 9 piece plastic jewellery set in primark for £1.50 the other day but can't have that rattling alone at the bottom! ??

Thanks in advance.

a tube of sweets (not allowed to eat all in one go!) or choc coins

My daughter has just turned 3 and I want the contents of her stocking to keep her busy for a couple of hours before we open the rest of the presents. I made the mistake of getting some arty things, but have realised that I don't want her making a big mess in the kitchen on Christmas morning. She loves her older brother's torches and I've ordered a Minnie Mouse projector torch from Amazon. From the Disney Store I've got a Princess Sofia stamper set in a lockable box (£6) which is really cute and I'm sure she will love it despite never having seen the show. Also a Santa hat with Minnie Mouse ears. She currently loves her toy spider from cbeebies "Woolly and Tig" and I rather wish I had kept that aside. Will get some sparkly / Hello Kitty type things like purse, jewellery, hair clips and stationery. Hoping to find a light weight snow globe and very small musical box. I was trying to interest her in some Sylvanian Families last week but she wasn't at all interested. Glad I've started shopping now to avoid stocking bagginess. Will be following this thread for more ideas!

The Natural History Museum picture viewer (about £5 from Amazon, available in dinosaur, wild animals or sea creatures) would fit in a stocking. It's great from age 3 as its so small and portable for occupying restaurants/ doctor's waiting room etc.

So far mines getting:
Hello kitty vests and pants
Minnie Mouse purse and water bottle
Quite a few books
Colouring and activity books
New felt tip pens
Nice stickers
Temporary tattoos- she loves them!!
Plastic jewellery tat
Orchard game- have a few in my stock cupboard for presents so haven't decided which ones.
Then I still need to get her something to play with on the morning so maybe a hello kitty travel house thing or some peppa pig things to go with the rest of her collection.
Mainly her stocking is pound land/primark stuff or things I've got in my stock cupboard!
