What have your dc been asking for and what will you be getting them?
So happy my son can't talk yet :P I know this time next year it'll be "I want I want"
Lego!! Well, he hasn't actually asked for it yet. It's too early to have that conversation, but he is obsessed with Lego so I already have some for him. I then wait until a bit nearer the time to see if there is anything more specific he would like.
Both DC have birthdays before Christmas so will let them happen first before I can think about christmas
Ds is 4 and be is obsessed with Lego so have a few bits already and will save for a big set. Dd 14 I have already bought her a iPod touch, after about 3 years of hints
DS wants superhero squad figures. Given the prices on eBay so does everybody else! I might get him a box of Lego although he wants superhero Lego I'm not sure if at 3.9 he will be too young!
DD wants a princess bike or her own peppa pig.
DD wants everything on any toy ad shown ever, so that should be easy to narrow down
DS desperately wants a ruddy Nintendo 3DS and I really don't like them, I think they make you dizzy.
I have already brought for dd1 she wants an ipod, no idea about dd2 though.
My DS has asked for a PS3 and a TV for his room. Have bought them for him. DD and DSD have asked for a Kurio Tablet each. Have bought them too.
Den kits, and some lego each, plus a stocking.
Skylanders giants, I've already preordered it ready. I've also bought her a supermario game for the wii and some thunder cats figures. I'll suggest that other family get her some more skylander giant figures too.
DS1 wants New Converse and Angry birds for the DS.
DD wants a Rapunzel doll and a snow white dress.
DS2 - glass nuggets to play with
Have already got little things from our local secondhand fbook group. Puzzles, colouring books etc
For DS3 and DD am going to get a play kitchen as their "main" present (to share).
Am thinking maybe Lego as main present for DS1 and DS2.
I think ds will be having a new tv and dd1 wanted a ps3.
Dd2 will be 2 just after Christmas so she probably won't have a main present. Just toys and possibly a dolls pram.
I'm not starting shopping til after our holiday next month.
A toaster
A micro pig
Nintendo 3ds xl (after 3 years of begging)
DS (4) is obsessed with batman at the moment despite never having seen any batman! He must have picked it up at nursery. So I think we will be getting him some batman imaginext stuff for his main present. He'll also get a game, some books, and some bits to build on existing stuff (lego, train set etc). My Christmas shopping starts in earnest this month now that the main birthdays and holidays are out of the way.
Bought mine (smug)
DS 15mo has a wooden toolkit from www.nokonwood.co.uk , they have lovely things.
DD has a silver cross dolls pram which I've bought second hand, looks like new.
GP's are getting him a tool bench and her a doll for the pram.
Am going to sit down today and figure out what else I have to buy.
It's August.
That's one quarter of a year away from Christmas.
But only 4 paydays
I'm going to get DD a dolls house. probably more for me than her.
No idea what DSD wants yet, she is 15 so it will probably be something electronic or clothes.
Ds1 & 2 will each get a jigsaw puzzle, books, colouring stuff and a game each for their Dsi's. (all of these bought already - smug!)
Waiting to find out what they want from Santy. We normally write our letters in October and he checks in on their behaviour after that!!
Yes. Saving might be wise, but I don't choose to spend more than £20 per child approx.
But, to be asking them and talking about what they want. To be talking about Christmas when it's August is crazy (to me and, of course each to their own)
As you were.
If it's 'each to their own' Back2Two, why feel the need to tell people who want to post about Christmas that they're crazy? Why not just leave them to it?
Why post in the Christmas topic then??
