He has an older brother (4.2) and sister (6) so has inherited a lot of toys. Now I am stuck for ideas Confused

Little People castle with king, queen, horses and the lot.
Duplo bricks.

Cars DVD from his sister.

Set of toy dinosaurs from my dad, not sure what's from my mum as she loves to keep it a secret.

DH parents are getting him Vtech camera but only because DD is getting one and otherwise they would fight over it non-stop.

Some duplo and brio Thomas the tank engine trains off eBay to share with DD. Sorry, not very imaginative for you but it's the only things he plays with everyday apart from his motley collection of cars.

Balance bike
Construction themed wooden railway set (£22.50 half price in m'care/ELC) to add to his existing wooden railway stuff
Foam jigsaw alphabet floor tile things (second hand from charity shop)
Thomas books (full 65-book set from the book people, but individually wrapped as 'tree presents')
Craft scissors set (under supervision)
possibly some random stocking fillers but DH is organising that stuff.

PrettyPirate I've got the castle too - got it off ebay and VERY pleased with myself!

He's getting a wooden garage too and a little space-hopper. And a fireman's outfit.

a keyboard, a mickey mouse tea set, thomas rucksack, and a happyland rocket, if I can get my hands on one.

Hot wheels garage (he's more into the hot wheels cars now, his fisher price garage is basically too basic)

A cheap fire engine

Some books

Pop up pirate game

Jake and the neverland pirate DVD and CD (DD is buying this to stop hime commandeering the sky linked tv)

Have learned not to spend loads till they start wanting techno stuff as opposed to plastic toys Grin

Oh yes I forgot, DD's present to him is a fireman's outfit (some waterproof trousers with braces and a fireman's hat from a charity shop - totally nicked the idea off my neighbour. Just hope it doesn't snow before Christmas!!) and my grandma is getting him the kids vileda mop and brush set to stop him nicking mine!

THIS lasted through 3 sons, literally hours of play and I used to find it quite soothing too.

The best boys toy ever, IMO. And I raised 3 so I've tried everything else blue and plastic

IHeart - That was my excuse to get it from eBayGrin

Pinot - I love click clack track, it has been on DS present list for ages, I can't see myself spending that money though... [off to ebay here I go again]

The Little Tikes Thomas bed (eBay bargain), a Puky balance bike, some bits for his wooden train set (cheap from TK Maxx - they've had proper branded Thomas and Brio stuff recently), some craft stuff including ink stamps which seem to be the new favourite things to play with, huge pack of coloured paper and big pack of felt pens and some new books including an Alfie set as recommended on another thread here.

iheart brilliant, that's good to know!

bunny DS got the Lightning McQueen bubble bath car for Christmas last year and he adores it and plays with it every day. He's hasn't even seen the film yet and thinks Lightning McQueen is actually called 'bubble car'. Best present ever!

Pinot those things are mesmerising

..and when DS worked out that he could incorporate it into his train set as an elaborate momentum mechanism it was a very happy moment.
