Can't promise you for how long and there may be some rather rainy hiccups mid week but at long last it is looking much warmer through the week (bit chilly on the tips of Scotland mind you!)

Looks like good growing weather

Ah, warm weather at last! Not sure the summer bedding plants will wait any longer, sitting in the greenhouse- they need to be out and in the ground!

petunia I took the plunge and started planting out yesterday - the poor plants looked so desperate to be outside!

please say you're not just toying with us...

....I've been for my run into a headwind all the way round

It's going to chuck it down later

It's not particularly warm

droitwich- I keep thinking 'maybe now's the right time' and then it turns cold again! I think the middle of this week, I might start planting them out.

Go for it petunia, I have been playing fast & loose with remembering to close my little greenhouse at night and everything has survived although it does depend where you live

Actually not that far from you; I'm in Leicester! I'll probably start on them this afternoon- it's nice out there, too nice to stay indoors!

It's grim today. Fine drizzle and chilly.

I forced myself to go out for 20 mins just now and pulled up some brambles and topped up a new planter with soil. Now back inside with tea and biscuit .

Ysterday was warm and I got loads done, even mowed the garden.

I am honestly not toying with you. It does look much warmer as we go through the week.

hard to believe looking at the pouring rain....

What a weird old day it's been, changing every 5 mins. I hope it decides on this warmer thing, cos all my stuff IS going out tomorrow whether it like it or not.

At long last!

FA Cup Final day is my traditional day for planting up my window boxes and hanging baskets. But haven't yet done it because I haven't even got round to looking at plants in the garden centre. Hasn't even begun to feel like the right weather for it ...

Mind you, we are having a thunderstorm right now! (London).

Looking pretty good this week. potentially hot at the end.

next week. some models hinting to a return of the north westerlies. cold ashy sort of weather.

lets hope they are wrong cos if they are not, that is it. I am packing my bags and emigrating.

What does hot mean exactly? I think your hot equals the start of my winter.

Hang on, that can't be right! I specifically requested warm and sunny weather for the half term...

Yes, that's the right week. I don't have any high expectations tbh, just thought you might have inside information
