It looks like it will start in the far SW tomorrow early - mid afternoon and by tomorrow mid evening be reaching Bristol.

All of it eventually. Could be a wet end to Reading festival.

Ohyoubadbadnamechanger, Grin I don't want any more cold, wind or rain.

Monday looks pretty wet here oybbk would you agree? Met office saying heavy rain all day. We're going out for Mexican Smile

Ps how are you? I feel like I haven't 'spoken' to you in ages!

Argh, lost my reply.

I would say Monday is an excellent day for a Mexican spotty :) it does look somewhat soggy I'm afraid. (I'm doing alright thanks, loving the holidays. How are you doing?)

elephants I should be back to 'normal' after the Doctor Who series :) you are kind of at the wrong end of the year if you don't fancy rain or cold Grin having said that , the beginning of Sept might be rather pleasant.

I'm good thanks. Just having a freak shower dp had do make a mad dash to get the washing in, it's chucking it down but sunny.

Hoping for less exciting weather this winter tbh!

SE.

Missing the rain in the night and had to water the garden yesterday.

Also the night temps of 7 degrees have been all too regular this weekConfused, but at least it has been dry during the day but cooler yesterday I felt..
Clear sky this morning and sun creeping above the roof tops opposite but at this time of the year cannot rise above the tall trees for a while yet Sad

Report
OhYouBadBadKrillitane · 24/08/2014 08:15

I don't think you'll need to water tomorrow digerd.

I'm in East Kent Kitten. Should I go out tomorrow or continue binge watching back to back episodes of Doctor Who on Netflix? Grin

I'm looking forward to a bit of rain (!), garden really needs it. Looks as though it will pour for around 24 hours in the SE. Interesting weather although wish it wasn't on the Bank Holiday Confused

Report
OhYouBadBadKrillitane · 24/08/2014 21:22

I think some areas could see a couple of inches in 24 hours with this low.

There was a flurry of activity at the allotment today. We were all trying to get out as much as we could before the deluge starts. I rescued my onions from a potentially soggy and rotten end.

We spent most of today outside, gardening, errands and playing as I doubt we'll be out there tomorrow.

SE.

Just a slither of rain in the night and now 13.7 ( about a teaspoonful of rain in my bucket only).
Take the dog out 3 X a day but this morning looks rather damp, dismal and uninviting atm but dry at least so should go before it does decide to chuck it down.

Now what should I wear today is my immediate problem Grin

Report
SpottyTeacakes · 25/08/2014 07:07

That's the problem we're having! It's too warm for coats but we don't want to get wet...

Report
PinkSquash · 25/08/2014 07:14

It's been raining fairly heavily here (SW) since 6. We are due to drive 2 hours into Somerset this morning via back roads and I'm really hoping it's not going to be as bad as forecast here.

I hope it warms up a little too, we've also had under 10 degrees of a night and it feels like autumn, the wind has been icy at times and not at all August-like

I'm in a tent on Dartmoor, wish me luck! It's been raining all night but not heavily i don't think

Report
OhYouBadBadKrillitane · 25/08/2014 08:56

The heavy rain is around the Plymouth area at present. Expect it to get wetter I'm afraid.
