...because just looking won't do any harm will it?

DD is off to uni in a couple of weeks and I'm feeling very sorry for myself, so have decided to start the inevitable transformation into crazy cat lady Grin

Careful I got a birthday cat in August and I'm already deciding she is lonely Grin

No harm whatsoever. Grin

(Have you started buying cat toys etc etc yet?Wink)

view them? You don't view kittens! You go, fell madly in love and start counting the days until they're yours Grin
Viewing. Like you could walk away... Grin

Don't forget the carrier.

Don't forget shops shut early on Sundays and it's bank holiday. In other words, go and buy the carrier, toys, bowls and food tomorrow Grin

Grin went to a rescues centre to just have a look - adopted our cat who's now sprawled on the sofa asleep and has charmed us all!

I may have bought a kitten toy from Asda today, you know, as you do. And it's a very good point about shops closing early on Sunday. I might just pop into Pets at Home tomorrow, purely for a browse.

If, hypothetically, I decided to aquire a kitten, which one should I (hypothetically) choose?

The lightest one. Looks a character!

Ooh I don't know between the choices... the grey one on looks. Third on personality and first for intensity and adoration.

That purposefully didn't help. Have three.

Ahh British Shorthairs! I couldn't choose. Have always loved blues but the chocolate has such a little cheeky face.

Omigod the first one! The little brown one, so unusual!

I want him. But I don't think DDog would appreciate another feline pal bossing him.

The light one looks like an adorable scamp. (Hypothetically speaking of course.)

PigPigTrotters · 26/08/2016 22:22

I'd get two.
Or looking at the photos, I'd probably get three Smile

cozietoesie · 26/08/2016 22:23

Well it would certainly save the OP from any anxiety in choosing. Grin

emwithme · 26/08/2016 22:30

Well you see you shouldn't get kittens in ones, because if you get two they can terrorise play with each other and hopefully won't be too lonely if you want to go out or whatever. Except that would leave one kitten all on its own. So you need to get all three.

On balance, it would likely be the chocolate one for me - if a boy. It looks just ready to dive into a pair of arms and purr someone to death. Smile

You don't go to 'look' at kittens. You go to get a kitten/s!

At least, thats what happened to me. Grin

Acquiring my Siamese boys (other than Firstcat) it was more a question of going to see if the kitten(s) liked me! Not so easy running the gauntlet of a dedicated breeder. Grin

Sorry - and excepting Seniorboy of course. But then he was family.

Oh sweet baby Jesus and all the little angels!
They are simply beautiful. (although not as beautiful as my baby girl as she is the most beautiful cat in all of creation)

The first brown/grey one though, just look at those eyes!!

AyeAmarok · 26/08/2016 22:57

I think I'm in love with the little chocolate one. I really am. Those little eyes.

I'm feeling actual pain in my heart!
