At 22 I thought she was everlasting- I was wrong she sadly passed away last night.
She has been by my side since she was 8 weeks old and next to me through the ups and the downs.
I miss her so so much, life will not be the same again.

RIP my Darling Daisy.

Oh, I'm so sorry

My cat is 19 now and it's such a long time for them to be in your lives. No wonder you feel so upset.

I think about what I might do to commemorate her when she goes. Even one of those diamonds-made-from-ashes Blush. Would you think of planting a bush or something?

So sorry to hear that, I had my dearest cat from a kitten till he was 17. That is lovely that the two of you had 22 years together, you must have given Daisy the best life she could have had Flowers

Sad sending a cyber-hug to all of you Sad
Seems to be lots of us bereaved kitty owners at the moment.
My poor boy (only just approaching his 3rd birthday) was hit by a car a couple of weeks ago, and I only found out because someone posted a picture of his collar on facebook Sad
My mum took the piss and told me "it's only a cat" Angry No it is not "just a cat".

I lost my childhood cat when we were both 24.

If you are in any way Christianity-inclined, I'd recommend "Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates". It's not as cheesy as the title suggests. It's about how God has an eternal relationship with his animals and takes them to heaven. They are only loaned to us on earth!

Thankyou everyone

The last few days have been really hard not having Daisy in the house. The house feels so empty I can not bear it. I am sure it will get easier, each night I long for bed time to get away from my sadness.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my lovely girl at the end of April, she was 17. We buried her ashes in a huge pot in the garden with a shrub she was named after. At the beginning of July I went to meet a tiny 3 week old boy kitten who came to live with us when he was 9 weeks old. He is an absolute joy, completely different in nature to my old girl cat. He's helped me loads Flowers.

My heart goes out to you.

We've always had cats - and other pets - and I have 3 now. Four and a half years ago I had to have my gorgeous girl pts and I still miss her so much. She was 13 and I had her from 9 weeks. She was the first cat that was properly mine after I left home.

Your Daisy was beautiful.

Oh chocolate she's absolutely beautiful. It's heartbreaking. We had our 19 year old pts in July.
Be thankful for the love and joy she brought. I understand completely the empty feeling they leave behind. I held out for a couple of months but we now have two kittens. Hoodlums!
