Good shops for 14 yr old girls?

Help. I'm trying to get a gift for a 14 yr old girl who is that mixture of cool/grungey/alternative and slightly still into cute things.

I've thought of Fatface or JoeBrowns - are they considered ok by cool 14 yr olds?

Where else should I be trying?? Or even a present idea for under £20!!!
Thanks.

My kids are much younger and this is giving me a taste for how tricky it must get as they grow up!

My dd is nearly 13 and loves both. But you'll be a bit pushed to get much for under 20 quid, I'm afraid. Do you have a Punky Fish anywhere near you?

Lush. If you can stand the smell. DD (13, nearly 14) and her friends love it.

Blue Banana for that grunge look.

Claires do emo/grunge bits.

These shops do tend to be a bit pricey, so not much in them for £20. Voucher would be good though, then she can buy what she wants at sale prices. My DD loves Freespirit/Mambo/Quiksilver, depends how emo/grungey she is - LOL. DDs very Emo friend buys most of her things in H & M.

I've never even heard of truffleshuffle or punkyfish or blue banana!! Which is why I asked the question I suppose!! I shall check all of those out now.
Thank you for these

Maybe I've over egged the grunge description. She's not actually that grungey / emo , but I would say her dress sense is casual and cool (so converse trainers with tights and shorts etc rather than full on punky gear).
thanks again

My dd (14) likes Animal & Roxy surf type stuff.

If she has outgrown from being really immature and has found and settled with her own unique style rather than being a phase don't go to Claire's!It's a teenage girl's pet hate.

I suggest go on ladyluckrulesok.com it's awesomely great with quirky personalised necklaces and other bits and bobs.

Topshop! My daughter is 15 and has loved it since she could fit into adult sizes.

My daughter (13) would love a voucher for any of the following:

Republic (cool clothes)
HMV
Boots
T-reds (not sure if national store for shoes)
Waterstones
H & M

or just the money!!
