Really like it, would like to know where it's from.

Hate it. Hasn't she been wearing this dress for weeks now? A bit too 'I'm embarassed to be pregnant' for my liking
NB I know she must be thrilled in reality, but it is just so chaste

link please

has to be nicer than Sarah's husband-resignation-speach-dress.

Huge norks.

oh I thought it showed off her bump quite nicely!

Isn't it one of boden's party dresses?

Sarah's dress was AWFUL - so incredibly bland and frumpy!

bellavita · 11/05/2010 20:56

I like it.

I admired the killer heels.
I'd have landed on my face on Downing St.

Lovely- nice to see her out of a tent.

Lovely dress, showed off the bump and looked great on her. Nice shoes too
Nicer than Sarah's dress I thought

I really like it, she's not hiding the bump.

Report
sansucre · 11/05/2010 21:37

Dairymoo: She had it made for her.

Despite Sarah Brown's dress being really lovely, it's a shame something always lets her down, this time it was her shoes and tights.

Oh - for goodness sake. Thought this was Mumsnet not Bitchnet.

We've just had a moment of history and you're finding the time to slag off shoes and dresses.

I thought she looked great and if she has been wearing it for weeks then I like it even more - certainly not a reason to dislike it.

Thank god my dh is not PM, don't know what you lot would make of my wardrobe!

NonnoMum:
Black sheer tights and nude shoes is not a good combination, I wasn't aware that was a bitchy comment.

As the title suggests, this is a thread about Sam's dress, not about the political aspect of tonight. If you're so keen to talk about this moment of history, maybe you should pop over to the Guardian or to Guido Fawkes blog and not even the relevant area here on Mumsnet, not Style and Beauty, just a suggestion.
