No 7 foundation?

Is this any good? Have been using the bourjois healthy mix but it is running out so I thought I'd give No7 a go. I am intrigued by the colour matching gadget!

I bought some (on the 3 for 2) my colour IIRC was Calico.

DD decided to help herself to some of mine then got her own (the Airbrush one) they gave her a sample pot to try .

It's good for my skin (normal no issues) I don't wear make-up day-to-day. I had tried the mineral powder or the Laura Geller baked before, I prefer a liquid one really.

DD uses one of the beauty blenders and a foundation brush . I use a flat sponge.

Thanks 70s. Do you think the colour match is accurate? Getting a sample is a good idea!

I recently bought protect and perfect foundation after doing the colour matching. The colour they suggested wasn't the one I thought I'd wear but it's really nice. Overall I'm very happy with the foundation. If you ask, they'll give you a sample to take home and try out before you buy.

I got colour matched just before my wedding because I was doing my own make up. That was 4 years ago and I haven't looked back. I love it. And it always seems to be on offer when I go to buy it so good value for money.

Thanks burnish! I like the protect and perfect serum so will give the foundation a go.

I've got some and quite like it. I think I'm going to need to find a primer to go under it though.

Yes, use No 7 everything. (Have also tried more expensive brands but I find them as good as any.) Colour match is v accurate in my experience.

I wear No7 Superlight in Cool Beige.
I like it- no issues. Stays on pretty well.

Is there more than one formula then? I have combination skin and was a bit put off thinking it'd come off around my nose and chin area after 5 minutes but the colour match sounds good. Think I'll get a sample.

What primer do you use Remus? I find regardless what foundation I use the staying is better with a primer.

I love all no7 stuff and moved to it after Lancôme and much prefer it. Recently discovered primer (no one had ever mentioned it to me before but I got a free sample and it's amazing!). Colour match was right for me. I like the stay perfect foundation but have another lighter one too which is nice.

I love no7 stay perfect foundation.
I have finally found the perfect shade for me, it's almost undetectable.
I use a primer and baby powder to set. Not too drying, not too oily and doesn't cake on my skin.
For extra dewiness, I add a single drop of jojoba oil to my foundation and apply with my beauty blender.

I also love that they have a matching concealer in the same shade.
I don't think I will ever switch.

I used to use premium brand foundation til I was colour matched by the No 7 lady - I 'm cool beige - and I've never looked back. I have the superlight foundation, the compact foundation and the BB cream. A real game changer for me.

I use no7 primer too. It probably has a posh name but it rubbed off the tube.

Love no7! I was shade matched to Calico and it's spot on, I use the stay perfect one.

Yet to find a primer I like which doesn't break me out however I went through a whole tube of embryollise lait creme concentre which is a moisturiser that's also great as a primer so I'll probably go back to that.

Stay Perfect is amazing! Love love love it. I won a makeover and a bottle of the Airbrush one which is also very good.

I really rate No. 7. Have tried more expensive brands and they don't come close for me.

Also love the cleansing range.

I feel quite excited about going in for a match now. My Lancôme foundation isn't cutting it anymore and the shade is slightly too dark. I spent ££ on the new hourglass one as the colour was perfect but the finish is awful.

I like Smashbox primer. I have skin that breaks out easily but this is fine.

Just looking at swatches online and it looks like there isn't a shade pale enough for me. As per. Sad

I'm as white as a sheet & calico is the best I've tried

enid what shade are you in other foundations? I am super super pale and calico is a perfect match for me :) and I think they may actually go lighter. You can go in and get a wee free sample once they match you aswell, it's quite a generous sample size they'll give you, think I got just over a weeks use out of it the first time I had one.

No7. definitely aren't great for super pale skins. I tried a sample of their palest and it was still too dark for me. To her credit though, the lady on the counter admitted that their foundations aren't pale enough.

I've red hair and pale skin and I've been matched to calico and it is spot on. I'm really impressed with the stay perfect foundation they gave me a sample pot off. considering buying it. love the fact their primer is exact same colour!

I'm thinking of trying the no7 beautifully matte to try, as I love stay perfect so much.
It's supposed to be be a good rival to Estee Lauder doublewear.
I'm thinking the coverage might be slightly heavier, and useful for hot days, and longer wear. Hopefully, less need to powder my oily skin.

I use the beautifully matt. I've used Estee Lauder doublewear in the past and think it is as good as. It lasts all day. I've also tried the protect and perfect foundation, but found it too oily for my skin and looks "patchy".

I got a tester of the beautifully matte. It didn't suit me at all. It seemed to turn powdery as soon as it hit my skin so I couldn't spread it. I think there must be a knack to it.
