So, my trusty DM elena boots are sadly kaput. Dh gas got me some clarks marquette silk boots (can't link on phone ) they are quite ok but rather wide at the top - is this acceptable? ? I'm used to knee high boots being nearly skin tight such that there is no gap however I accept that this may a bit 1997 or something. I would say that there is a 1cm gap as I could slide my hand in .
