Forehead lines - does anything help?!

I've had deep (worry) lines on my forehead for years and I'm wondering if any of you ladies have any recommendations for improving the appearance of them, be it make up; beauty products; treatments...

Any top tips that have worked for you (assuming I'm not the only person with them, sob), would be hugely appreciated.

I don't drink enough water so I am starting there...

Thank you!

A fringe.

Yes indeed, that might be the best route...

I've been using Superdrug B Flawless wrinkle filler. It's good, just use it like Polyfilla! Only a few quid so worth a go.

Great, thanks very much!I am about to detour now and get some, such is my excitement that this product exists in superdrug .

YY fringe! My problem is the frown line between eyebrows though, I look cross even when not! It's only slight but have noticed it getting worse.. Are there alternatives to Botox (or a v long fringe!)

Botox defo works. Heard of these patches called frownies but not sure if they are any use. I have the exact same lines and they are driving me insane. Am bf so don't want to go down thr Botox route

I am doing frownies.

I'm trying to train myself out of it. My forehead was like a noughts and crosses board a week ago. I bought some cheap synake stuff from amazon, rub it on forehead, smack on the frownies and leave it there for 18 hours at a time (have fringe so this is possible)

I'm frowning much less, lines are fading, and when I take the patch off the wrinkles come back gradually (after like 12 hours) but are much softer than before. I'm persevering with this until the end of the month. I do think that just retaining that muscle should help slightly.

consciously not frowning or screwing your eyes up when you're looking at your smart phone or in front of the office computer. I swear it makes a difference. Doesn't eradicate them but I know a 63 year who swears by this and her forehead is smoother than mine (I'm 26!).

Yes to Frownies here too, plus wearing sunglasses as soon as the sun begins to glimmer through the clouds, even in the winter.

Definitely Botox. They will disappear. It rocks!

Every night after moisturising cover each line with Vaseline, not quite Botox but much cheaper!

*vaseline or Vicks - sounds weird and smells mentholy but works xxx

Oh yes to the sunnies....I wear them daily, and I never need to screw my eyes.

smoke n glitter vaseline? Does it get rid overnight?! Might try that de door....

Benefit pore filler works amazingly on forehead lines- smooths away like magic- but sadly quite temporary. I tried Botox once but the lines reappear elsewhere, and you can spot a Botox user a mile off!! May try those frownies....

Couldn't bring myself to do Botox so have gone for a fringe....works wonders and costs nothing!

I thoroughly recommend jowls. Once you get them you'll never even notice your lines. And, best of all, they're absolutely free!

Seriously, ageing is relentless. You zap one symptom - another will come along and bug you even more. Some people try and fight it but I don't have the money or, frankly, the energy. I prefer to look the best I can and otherwise laugh it off.

Botox

I think it depends how long you have had them, tbh. I take all the points about not frowning at computer screens/smartphones etc but I have had mine since my teens (at least) and we didn't have those things back then! Some of these lines are genetic and I'm not sure that there is anything at all to be done about those.

OP I agree with Floisme - if you can find something cheap & cheerful then go for it but otherwise don't go down the botox route. I would rather see a sea of interesting faces than botox perfection.

A fringe or botox. And botox done by someone good with a light touch does not leave you without an interesting face.

Just avoid the Nicole Kidman route which no good practitioner would do anyway.
