There's a lovely tweed blazer in Joules...it's got jersey in so fits really nicely...its £99 but there are £20 off vouchers knocking around on the Internet x

I saw a nice £30 one in New Look on Friday! I didn't have time to try it on though so no idea how well made it is.

What's wrong with the second picture? I don't think it looks that bad!

I got a lovely all saints one in tk maxx. This was last year, but it's ways worth a look.

Is this the joules one Jewels?

If so, I really like it, looks gorgeous!

I like the new look one too Maizy but wonder if it might be too short? Hard to tell when they don't photograph it on a model.....

Trixy, just looked a bit like the blazer was too small/ too short as opposed to the effortless layered chic of the first image.

(lets be honest, what I probably want is the size ten body of the first image too, but in the absence of that, the jacket will have to do Grin)

A lot of women's blazers are quite short now, aren't they?
Is this more the length you wanted? It's from Oasis. Don't know what it's made of.

Jack wills do really nice fitted tweed jackets (others I find can look cheap) but they are pricey. I have a few of them but buy them on eBay as quite often people buy them and never wear them or have only ever worn them a few times but kept them in immaculate condition as they were so expensive! (I usually pay around £90-£100) RRP £240 but you can also resell on eBay when you get bored of it for the same as what you paid so in effect costing you nothing!Grin They are usually quite small. I am a size 10 with smallish bust but buy size 12 in these jackets

The one in Matalan is lovely though the picture is not good
They tend to look a bit frumpy on me but this one and the Joules one which is not real tweed but jersey also looked ok.

Like the Very one as well!

H&M one a good price but haven't seen it in RL and may be a bit short again.

I bought one this weekend (it was way pricier than I would normally spend but a birthday treat) While trying it (I bought MaxMara in the end), I tried both the Joules and the Phase Eight.

The Joules is a lovely colour but has a bit if Lycra in it. This makes it comfy but it meant it draped funny on my big boobs (am size 14 and 34H). I had more success with the Phase Eight which is a lovely cut and shape but they didn't have a 14 so the 12 was a bit too tight and 16 gaped hugely. So they look similar but are quite different fabric wise - I'd record trying if you can.

BTW I have a thread on here asking what to wear it with and was given lots if Pinterest links so might be worth you having a browse at those once you buy your jacket.
