Rebranding of Mumsnet. Your thoughts on our new cat's bum face logo?

Swedington · 06/01/2010 12:16

We employed a focus group and a rebranding team at a digital agency and they've suggested we replace our current logo with a cat's bum face logo. The Mumsnet typeface would remain the same.

So what do you think, Mumsnetters? Does the cat's bum face better suit our general disapproval and joylessness or shall we stick with what we've got?

and

Is there an 'arms crosssed under my bosom' emoticon as well?

That will be the one featured on a high horse, of course.

I doubt the S&B stalwarts would approve of those glasses.

Ew. That's not your hairy arse is it, Swedington?

Rofl!

As the picture loads you see the actual cats bum before the photoshop efforts in decency!

Luckily I didn't mind as I have one in my face most mornings... cat's bum that is, nobody else's (possibly sadly)

I like Biwi's suggestion, horse, arms, chest, everything.

Perfect. It is how I picture mumsnet in my mind.

Ha ha. It took me ages (years ) to realise that in the existing logo, the woman on the right is brandishing a bottle, not a gun as I thought!

We could have cat's bum face mumsnet stickers and go round the shops sticking them on everything that meets with our easy disapproval?

I'd much rather post on a site called cats bum face than mumsnet. the name Mumsnet is sooooo terrys.bigblog.com.au/data/3/15062/image/TalkingCatsBum6619120090123180800.gif.
