Is anyone else finding those drop down boxes at the top of the page a bit ott?

At the top bar where it says Talk, Pregnancy, Baby, Child etc?

If my cursor goes on one I can't very easily get rid of the big drop down menus that pop up

Driving me bananas.

I hate them. Far too intrusive and obscuring your view. They also really don't want to go back up, I have to keep clicking onto nothing to get them to disappear.

What was wrong with the way it was before ?

If it could at least be fixed to only drop down when you click, not hover, that would help a lot. I can't get rid of the dropdown menu without refreshing the page, annoying when it's only because my cursor happened to pass over them.

Ooh I quite like them, although I agree they should go away more easily.

I also now have a blue line coming down from "Pregnancy" from one of the mouseovers which won't go away no matter what I click.

Yes, they stick around and obscure the bit you want to see and somehow won't disappear which is a problem....

Really annoying.

I wonder how they work on touchscreens too? I'm not sure mouseovers should be the done thing these days. Lots of people viewing the full site on tablets and even Windows now has support for touch screen so people will be starting to use it.

I can't see them on the mobile version. So use that far better than the full site or the app on an iPad.

Thought it was just me and my laptop was broken, didn't realise it was deliberate, it really does just look like something isn't working properly. I can't find 'topics' in talk either.

YES!! They just won't go away! One of them leaves a 'ghost' of a purple line right down the screen too, it's driving me mad!

Oh, I've found topics, the talk button doesn't have a drop down menu, you just click on it. It's all very badly designed, hopefully just teething problems.

The more I try to avoid that bit of the page the more I'm accidentally hitting it. Doh!

Drop down menus are fine. I no problem with a drop down menu.

Drop down menus that don't disappear when you move your mouse of them = ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
