What shall I buy DS's fab male student teacher who leaves this week?

DS2, Yr 5, has had a fab student teacher this term. He sadly finishes this week and will be missed! I'm not one for always buying presents for teachers at every opportunity but he has really made a difference to ds2 this term (which I hope ds2 will be able to express in the card he wants to write!). What could I get him as a useful present? Don't particularly want wine, a deputy head I spoke to at the weekend said supplies and mentioned highlighter pens as an example but there were other mums there and we jokingly said that he might now get 30 packs! Any ideas from teachers on here particularly welcome!

A Lynx gift set! No, joking. Seriously I was going to say iTunes card but someone got there first.

Actually , DS2 (9) has just bought DS1 (12) a Lynx gift set for Christmas! I was going to guide him in another direction but then I thought, hey, a Lynx gift set is like a rite of passage for teenagers, isn't it? Smile

Am dithering between being sensible and going for the laminating pouches or getting him an iTunes card. Thanks for the suggestions.

What is wrong with wine?! My DH (male secondary school teacher) would be perfectly happy with wine!

If you want to buy him a present and spend about £25 what about a man bag? Or if you think its too much I second/third?? i-tunes voucher or world's greatest teacher mug (from Next) - hopefully it will be the first of many Smile

iTunes voucher. Or a tie.

DH (as mentioned, a teacher), just home from work and have asked him what he'd like:

A mug to be his work mug
A set of really good "reward" stickers
Biscuits (homemade or bought)
A homemade card from your DS - he says that would be really nice.

He is easily pleased!
