DS1 it was 'the lodger'. DS2 was 'the new lodger'. Not very cute but we'd talk about having a new lodger in the house!

We found out very early on about pg so bump became known as "The Amoeba" which has now become "Mebe" (Mee Bee)

Mine was called Alessandro after an Italian waiter, jokily blamed for the "condition", when we subsequently discovered it was a girl, it got changed to Myrtle.

I'm boring then 'bubba'! Although one of my friends nicknamed my first bump as 'prawn' then as I got bigger 'king prawn'

DS was T-Rex... He was re-nick-named Squeaky as soon as he was born cos he was so tiny and, well, squeaky!!... but I don't think it'll be too long before T-rex seems more appropriate again (He's 11MO now and turning into a wrecking ball by the day!)

DD (due AUgust) is simply bump...

DD was Strawberry because all these baby books seem to liken the foetus's size to food. We got so used to calling her this that it nearly became her middle name! DC2 has been King Prawn but now is The Little Bugger since it moves so much and causes so much discomfort!

I can relate to that-- especially the middle of the night bladder bounce!!!

For a while Skeletor, after a scary looking ultrasound!!

[dreadful Mummy emoticon]

Then my Mum named the bump Hugo - we were so used to this, it is now ds's name!

My DS was refered to as Bugsy.

I painted Bugsy in massive letters on his wall before I wallpapered over it.

A reminder for my mum (whose house I was living at when pg) everytime she decorates!
