I am also due in dec about the 5th. This is my 2nd pg but has been a while due to my son being nearly 14,lol. What a shock i am 31. Seems to be going ok have a scan at end of may, being sick in the mornings, feeling sick through the day sometimes, stretching stomach pains. Woke up at 3.45am this morning had to be sick and again at 7.30am. I hope this passes as i was sick all through my pg for my son. I always have to have ham on toast for breakfast. Can't drink my cups of tea anymore as the milk gives me a sour taste in my mouth, i loved my cups of tea too... I have tropical fruit juice as that makes me stop feeling sick as it is really refreshing. My favourite is the tesco or coop make. Just in case this may help someone else. I also keep wanting mint cornetto, my partner brings me some now and again, bought a box of them yesterday. I just wish i didn't feel so sick and tired, my poor man thinks i don't want him, i don't want him thinking things like that as this is a new relationship. Ppl say pg is suppose to be happy times but i don't feel very happy with pain, being sick and tired all the time. Anyone else feel like this????? xx

traie i have had that all 3 times now! second time was very scary i had a scan at the epu and was told no heartbeat hada 2week wait to find out if she was ok that was horrendous! but dd2 sat here playing

stretching is normal but not always there.

tiaxx with my dd1 i had horrendous sickness that ;lasted all day right up hours after having her it got me very down and i had ante natal depression and post natal... i'm being treated for depression and anxiety now but feel great last few days.

my advoce is keep on top of it! if you are sick or feel tired take a min to breath and calm down.

get a easy hobby to take mind off it

its horrible it really is. i hope it goes soon for you. i found ginger snap biscuits were great for me and also apple juice.

maybe get one of those anti sickeness bracelet things... people wear for travel sickness think health food store hasve them?i love the ham on toast too! lol

traiekoopsmummy · 21/04/2009 09:59

yeah we have medicare here but we have a threash hold where we can use so much before it cost unless you earn like 80000 a year or something like that, i am lucky to have a doctor which bulk bills with medicare so it doesnt cost me nething but when we have to go to different specialist the cost adds up especially with my eldest as we have an eye surgeon as he was born blind in the left eeye we have an ENT (ears nose throatsurgeon) and he costs us 160 each time we have a visit and we also have speech pathologist whch is 100 a week and then we have a pediatrician which is another cost so i am hoping to get my earlier scan and 18 week done through medicare

Hi, can I join, I THINK I am due in December, no idea when as I've not been for a scan yet or to see the gyno, I just took my pregnancy test last night, I am really happy, though it was a bit unexpected as I was on the pill. I've two Ds's already, so I am really hoping for a girl, DH says if it's another boy we might as well just sign our lives away, they're so active and mental. Glad I found this thread. I'm a bit woozy in the evenings, and the morning morning-cickness has started, which I am not too impressed with. I cant stop eating sweets - specifically, those horrendous big marshmallows with pink sugar on the ourside. mmmmmmm. Hope everyone is doing well this fine morning.

Hi All,

Delighted to say that for the first time on here I can say that I am due on 22 Dec Did 4 tests last Friday and they all came back with a BFP! Hooray!

Very early days and being very cautious as have had 2 miscarriages but trying to stay as positive as possible. Am having cramps which feel very similar to period pains - anyone else having these? Should I be worried? They seem to come and go...

p.s. Is this the 'official' December babies thread?

traiekoopsmummy · 23/04/2009 10:44

Hey greet i have allso suffered 2 mcs but have had 2 sons as well i am due on the 11th december and have also had cramping that comes and goes as well. I go for a scan next week whixh will be at 8 weeks so i am excited as that will give me a better look on things (heartbeat growth) but at the same time i am scared of having another mc well hope all goes well for you.

Madmissy - I went to the docs yesterday and i am off for a scan next week so will tell you how i go then and its good as where i am having it done bulk bill so medicare will cover it

hi there

i am new too, kind of guessing with the abbreviations, when you have read a few posts, you pick up some of them!

I don't have an exact date for baby number 2, but doctor said early dec, so nearly 9 weeks. morning sickness started really early, had it for nearly 4 weeks now, not nice. trying vit b6, no change really. also like toast, lots of savoury food, and crave those awful cheese twirl things that are full of rubbish. but trying to enjoy it...difficult to imagine baby until i have been for a scan. they don't offer early ones where i live, so may have to go private if i want one, nearly £100 for it though!got so used to the nhs...

found lovely chewy rennies for heartburn, find them easier to eat. also trying to get some form of exercise, felt like i was going to faint when i walked up a hill the other day though, had to keep stopping and taking Big breaths

congrats to everyone xx
