Does DD+ maternity swimwear exist?

Help! I need a swimsuit with enough room for my growing bump and enough support for my increasingly large boobs. It's for fitness (lane swimming and aqua classes) not the beach, so ideally the style should be plain or sporty, but that's not a priority - beggars can't be choosers!

Does DD+ maternity swimwear exist? Or will I have to choose between my boobs and my bump in terms of what fits best?!

I'm usually a 34F/FF but my boobs are obviously growing. At 17 weeks I'm wearing a 38FF and I guess they will probably get even bigger

I have a Freya Active Soft Cup swimsuit (a one piece) and my boobs are already spilling out. I'm toying with the idea of buying the same swimsuit in a bigger bra size (found it half price!) but I'm worried there won't be enough stretch in the body to accommodate a huge bump towards the end of my pregnancy. Would I be better off in a tankini? There is a tankini version of the Freya Active Soft Cup... It's not on sale of course (typical) but might last longer, as I figure even if it rides up towards the end it won't matter hugely if I flash a bit of bump?!

Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome - TIA!

I wouldn't get too fussed, my boobs are currently a G or something but they fit happily in a large speedo maternity swimsuit. I also have an Asda maternity tankini that I got for £3 (the bargain of my last pregnancy)
Neither of my swimsuits are structured or underwired.

I don't want an underwired swimsuit but I would like something with a bit of bra support. I always wore regular swimsuits before and the Freya one has been been a revelation.

It might not be such an issue if I was just swimming but I also want to do Aqua Zumba and I need my boobs held firmly in place

Cross post, thanks positivity. Just looking at JoJo, it seems the tankinis have an "internal shelf bra" so that might be an option... Just a shame they don't seem to have anything in stock in my size

My speedo one has a sort of shelf bra support, used it for Aqua Natal last week and was fine.

I searched high and low in my last pregnancy and came up with nothing. I was GG to start and ended up at about a J so wouldn't be happy with normal maternity swimwear (I find the "shelf" is too shallow and there's boob overflow).

Instead I made/customised my own. I bought a tankini in a sister size so that the boob boy was correct but the back was too big. I then added in extra hooks so it had more adjustments. I think it had a drawstring at the waist so it didn't ride up. I was really pleased with it. I bought about half a dozen from brastop so I could work out the best one. I found that getting the bra bit too big was impossible as I ended up with underwriting half way round my back and it was uncomfortable.

Anyway, I'd go with the tankini and later on see if you can get some coordinating over the bump bottoms of it becomes too tight. If you can't sew, you could still buy big and safety pin smaller for now. It sounds like you're a fairly serious pool user so it's worth spending some money to be comfortable.

I wear JoJo tankinis to lane swim and am a DD maybe an E now (23 weeks but big bump). Haven't had much luck with their maternity clothes for fit/quality but the tankinis are really good.

Bravissimo do bra sizes swim wear but no maternity swim wear. I think it's a gap in the market that they could/should fill but when I emailed them a couple of years ago they were not interested. As a long standing customer for clothes/swimwear/lingerie I find it a bit odd that they expect you to piss off once you're pregnant (aside from a couple of soft cup bras) when this is the time you're most in need of well fitting garments.

Convincing Thanks for your post. Yes that's exactly what I'm worried about, the "shelf" being too small and my boobs falling out! I'm shit at sewing unfortunately but I think your DIY solution is probably the best one!

Jacquetta Bravissmo was the first place I looked. They don't have maternity swimwear. They don't have much swimwear at all actually (I got my Freya swimsuit online, from Simply Swim).

There is clearly a gap in the market - a small gap, obviously, but given that boobs grow in pregnancy, there must be plenty of pregnant women who want swimwear to accommodate big boobs.

I'm currently sporting a G cup. I have the red with white polka dot tankini from JoJo. I went up to a Large but my bust feels secure

I find my speedo very supportive.
It doesn't have a bra bit as such (I'm a GG) but because it offers a lot of coverage my boobs didn't move. If I'm completely honest they're not as perky looking in the swimsuit as I normally expect but swimming is a doddle.
