Cold remedies in pregnancy

I'm coming up to 7 weeks pregnant and have been hit with the mother of all colds. Congestion, headache, cough, sore throat you name it Hmm
Obviously I don't want to take anything if it could be harmful to baby so does anyone know of anything natural/safe that I could use to help me feel better?

The best option is do your own I'm afraid; as I understand it (but please check), you're allowed paracetamol but not things like lemsip etc. Hot water/lemon/honey (raw garlic eaten too if you can stomach it!) and take a couple of paracetamol. Maybe try steaming your face with a towel and a bowl of hot water to help with congestion. And bed too if you can! Hope you feel better soon (and congratulations!)

I text the midwife about this the other day, her response Hot Water with honey and lemon. To be fair it has worked ok alongside a bit of Olbas oil on my pillow

I have heard (but never tried) that if you cut a raw onion in half and put it by your bed it helps with congestion.
