Oh god yes. If you feel like it trust your body.
I was the same at your stage and had a small glass, it was wonderful!

I suspect it will do more good than harm.......Smile

Nothing wrong with the odd glass of wine!

Quite agree with all the above, a little won't harm. Also worth noting that the most critical time for development is 6-12wk, of course the whole pregnancy is important but by 37 most of the hard work is done. Enjoy it!

It's sometimes recommended as pain relief during early labour (or to slow down a fast labour) so I don't think one can hurt.

Go for it. I didn't drink at all first 12 weeks but have the odd cider in the back garden now and again now I'm 32 weeks. No judging here!

Definitely ok, don't let anyone make you feel guilty about it either. Small glass drunk slowly, so your body has time to digest it. Plenty of research that says 1 glass a night after the 1st trimester, drunk slowly, makes no difference to the the baby's development. Enjoy.

No problem. I would personally consider drinking even one glass every night to be excessive, but the odd glass here and there - provided it's a small glass - is nothing to get worried about.

One thing I would recommend though is to make sure you always do it at home. Seriously, it's not worth the hassle of interfering busy bodies tutting at you or coming over to say bitchy things at you, if you do it in public.

One glass, once in a while, is fine.

As others have said, alcohol becomes less of an issue later in pregnancy, as the crucial brain development is done.

Definitely! Everything in moderation. I have 1-2 glasses a week, topped up with soda water to make them last longer!

Agree - had a half of beer or small glass of wine at weekends throughout pregnancy. DSs don't seem to have suffered!

Actually just have to counteract that 1 glass a day later in pregnancy has been linked with low birthweight and behavioural problems- it hasn't been proved to be safe!

However 1 glass in a blue moon hasn't yet been proven to have any harmful effects.
