hi everyone, I think im being completely irrational.

dh has snip 18 months ago samples both clear and said no viable sperm etc.

anyway im not due on for 4 days but I have all the symptomsim scared

I was in the shower and when the water touched nipples it hurt! I have this awful shooting pain I have only ever had when early pregnant.

I had spotting a few days ago which I never had before unless pregnant!

I feel icky but could be stress of it all and me driving myself mad!I also have alwful ligament pain when I sneeze or get up to quick .. again only got this in early pregnancy.

its impossible isnt? there isn't a chance obviouat there is something else here maybe coming down with something. It's too early to test .. don't want to talk to anyone else as they will think im insane .. which I probably am

It's not impossible. Extremely rare, but it does happen. Get a First a Response kit stat.

No my friend had 4 planned children, after 1st 'V' she found she was pregnant, whilst pregnant her DH had it done again and results came back that it hadn't worked so they were very carful and after the 3rd time they got the results it had worked

I know someone who had a pregnancy post vasectomy - her husband's "tubes" took a while to repair themselves so they'd had clear test results. He went back in for another op and they ensured that the vasectomy was irreversible this time!

it's scarey isn't it.

Although I would always love another baby we just couldn't have anymore. dh had a vasectomy for a reason.

Someone I know had a vasectomy, as they were happy with 2 children. They didn't wait the recommended time (is it 6 weeks?) to abstain, and she got pregnant with triplets! They now have 5 kids!

ladythatlunches · 01/03/2014 17:31

oh goodness. yes roughly that but they need to ahem release them self's something like 40 times before they are clear, then they have the tests.

wow triplets. . we have twins :)

hi, no nothing to report a part from pulling ligament pain again. But that in its self really isn't a sign.

I sick feel sick and exhausted but these are signs of my period I get every month.

If I manage to get out with the little ones tom ill grab a test as 2 days left till due on so im sure it would show and then I can stop thinking about it.

UPDATE:

DH went to shop last night and got me a test. sainsburys own blue dye ones. there are skinny lines on both. . but after googling it because I was suspicious it turns out these crappy tests are renound for them.
my sister bought me a clear blue plus one . negative.

dh been worrying and bought me first response. I wasnt going to bother but I think he was worried and low and behold a faint line,?

more confused as the two I think were crap. then negative this morning. . I was thinking the first response might be an evap as I left it as just done it too please the dh.

still non of wiser!

Lady I have never had a false positive on First Response. I have squinted the hell out of those bloody things and the only time a line appeared was when I was pregnant.

When is/was your period due?

Report
ladythatlunches · 03/03/2014 17:56

well last month I was 26 days usually always 28
. so if 26 days then tom.. if 28 Friday.

I don't have clue how to put pics up in here for advice on what everyone thinks. . anyone got any idea? x

I would say if FR has given you a faint positive then there is a good chance you are pregnant.

im wondering if a evap line as it was about 15ish minutes maybe more. But you can really see it.

Some friends of mine sued the clinic that had performed his vasectomy. He'd had the all clear, but something odd happened with tubes (I have no idea what), and she ended up pregnant again. They have a disabled oldest child, and knew that they couldn't cope with more/it wouldn't be fair.

Report
ladythatlunches · 03/03/2014 18:08

my dh said last night if I am he will sue. I said not to get ahead of our selves!

Frustrating not knowing. Are you going to test again tomorrow?

ladythatlunches, click on 'my mumsnet' (top right of the page) and upload a picture.

ohthegoats, did they successfully sue the clinic? They're very very clear that nothing apart from abstinence is 100%. DH had a vasectomy in January and I know that there is still a minute chance we could have another baby. That's not the clinic's fault, that's biology.

Shamelessly marking my place! Good luck OP!
