Hairier legs when preg. = boy???

I'm on preg. #3 and have heard the old wives tale about hairier legs = boy pregnancy. Was this true for you?

I don't think my legs are hairier but my 'pits seem to spikier quicker- or am I just noticing more because it's summer?

I know it's all nonsense really but need to be indulged as 2 weeks to go before scan and am dying to know the gender. have always been to scared to ask before! Have 2 DDs already,

When I was pregnant with ds I was so much harier - I even got a hairy belly! Something to do with the testosterone IIRC, but might be a load of old twaddle!

Like all these things it's a load of rubbish.
Sorry, you'll just need to be patient a bit longer.

link for all those old wives tales quiz

girl or a boy?

Thought so!

Thanks for the quiz - says 60% chance boy and 40% chance girl!

Soo frustrating not knowing! Am control freak I think!

How about cravings? Have craved choc and cake in my girl pregs but now definitely crave sour and salty things - lemon ice lollies and marmite crisps being favourite. The thought if creamy choc actually turns my stomach! Or maybe it's the weather...

Why - did you have a boy NAO?

I would love a boy but don't think I have it in me!

pmsl - never heard this!!!! My shaving needing hair all pretty much stops growing during pregnancy (with either sex), in the same way that it also takes a week - 10 days to get greasy when I am pregnant.

My body seems to realise that I can't shave/wash hair in a bath so easily when I am lumpy, so it gives me a break

DS is a 65% girl apparantly

Same as FlameSparrow - didn't need to shave my legs once when pregnant with my two boys.

That's interesting. Have just done the quiz for all 3 of my pregs and this one is the most 'boy' preg. I've had - the other 2 pregs were girls and the quiz said girl - although I do have a lot of 'boy' symptons with all my pregs - always carry up front for instance.

Just read what I've written above and realise that it is the ramblings of a woman who needs to get a life!

katzg's quiz was 80% boy for me.

Mind you all 3 pregnancies have been the same - meat, no orange juice, salty foods, - and so far I have one of each.

Sorry, have never been at all hairy and when pg with DS I was even less hairysame at the moment. Surely being hairy has more to do with the time of yeardoesn't hair grow quicker in the winter?

i had a hairier everything when pregnant with ds. hairier toes, hairier legs, darker upper lip. Almost every single person who volunteered an opinion it told me I was obviously carrying a girl. Then out came my beautiful son.
