Previous thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1655656-November-2012-sleeping-through-yet

The answer to the sleeping though question was a chorus of "no"s but there were a few resounding yesses and a lot more keeping quiet because the rest of us would be well jel.

DD's first words were this week.
Russian and Mandarin naturally.

BigPigLittlePig Tue 15-Jan-13 19:58:40

Hahahahahaha this has made me chuckle lots
Glad little pig is planning (hmm) to sleep well as off to collect Nobel peace prize tomorrow for her work in creating world peace

This week you say belgrano? My LO was tri-lingual at birth.

LMAO which is strangely autocorrected to knapsack confused grin.

My littlest LO is only just mastering a concerto on the baby grand, so he's a bit behind tbh, but then DH keeps him out until all hours practising for his trial for GB hockey GK next week, so it's only to be expected....

Dixie he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy smile

On a more serious note, I truly believe my DD would rather learn to change her only nappy than learn to use the loo/potty despite ending up spending 35 fucking pounds on a singing bloody potty for her, whoever suggested that DC should choose their own potty & pants has a lot to answer for!!! as she's happy to take it off, try to wipe herself, lift her legs to allow through nappy underneath & will tell you when to change it and what the contents are. Strange girl.

GTbaby Tue 15-Jan-13 21:52:09

Quiche .... i always thought it was a word I didn't know.

Sophiathesnowfairy Tue 15-Jan-13 21:54:19

Would you believe Olly only just told me at bed time that he needed a cap and gown to pick up his PHD in the morning.

These over achievesrs.

Didn't anyone tell them it would be a few weeks until they could become fully qualified, genius. Inds.

Sophiathesnowfairy Tue 15-Jan-13 21:55:33

Pity his mother can't even master basic spelling.

Hello I'm still keeping up...just about.

MissMummy1 Tue 15-Jan-13 22:51:21

Damn you pelvic floor! I'm squeezing you tightly as I giggle uncontrallably at this shiny new thread!!

I'm afraid my darling PFB is a tad behind. Not only was she born in December (the shame, can I still be in your savoury pastry?) but she still has not mastered sleeping through at all, breastfeeding is a bit of a struggle and the little darling struggles to make peace with herself, let alone the universe. Can we forgive her because she's cute please? Failing that I might have to start an AIBU grin

MissMummy1 Tue 15-Jan-13 22:56:17

Oh and she might not have found the god particle but she found the moon in the nursery velux tonight. Matilda Rose Luna is living up to her name. I believe she is a pro sailor in the making!

TheDetective Tue 15-Jan-13 22:59:24

You mean to say your pelvic floor hasn't toned up to the point you could twang it and play a mighty fine guitar solo from it because it is so taut?! And it isn't screaming to be allowed to pop another 36 15lb babies from it?!

Pah!

TheDetective Tue 15-Jan-13 23:00:50

My pelvic floor can carry bricks. grin

MissMummy1 Tue 15-Jan-13 23:28:37

<slumps back to old thread>

TheDetective Tue 15-Jan-13 23:37:48

Dragging that pelvic floor behind you grin

katkit1 Wed 16-Jan-13 01:47:32

Hi chunky - yes please to adding photo to fb on hernia info. We have reached 3 hrs between a feed yay all due to using sleeping bag I think

Catbag Wed 16-Jan-13 03:32:46

Roflmao detective, I actually spluttered when I read that. Caused both babies to look rather alarmed. Of course when i read out your comments, they were rolling around too...

CandyPop Wed 16-Jan-13 04:09:42

Ah you guys have just cheered me up from a dreadful night (and day) - I have an extremely irritable baby today whos feeding less than every 2 hrs.

rowingdowntheriver Wed 16-Jan-13 04:11:49

This thread is making me smile grin

capedcrusader25 Wed 16-Jan-13 05:47:04

Bastard! I just typed a post and O deleted in! This is actually true, she waved her crazy arms and hit the screen by accident. Or maybe she's finally worked out how to use touch screen phones. About time too! hmm
Basically fatima I don't think it clears on its own. I had thrush and it took a while to shift and I had to use the drops for several days after the last bits disappeared to really kill it off. Still using the cream on her bum now, you have to use that for longer.
gt O is ff but won't be having the drops. I live in the midlands so I walk in the daylight should give her what she needs apparently.

capedcrusader25 Wed 16-Jan-13 05:47:46

Frigs sake. I meant O had thrush not I had thrush!!
