even if we're not going out. Or do you leave them in their pj's?

I have always dressed DD regardless of whether going out. Don't most people?

Mine get dressed/are dressed every day. Sometimes on a sunday they stay in pjs for longer.

I am, however, sat here myself still in PJs. Full of cold and fell rubbish, DD at school; DH at work. So vegging out - will go and shower soon.

lol

if i know for sure we arent going out then we tend to have PJ days, but other times I like them to get dressed! Today i have to wait in for a courier to collect a parcel, yet I did get them dressed this morning (all be it in trackies!)

If we are not going out, I put them in something comfy that they would'nt wear out this time of year, like jersey cotton shorts and and a t/shirt.

that said there was a one year old in the baby section of dd's playchool still in his pjs the other day so there are other extremes!

nope my have always got dressed - well I believe DS2 is half way through getting dressed (trousers pants and socks on the bottom but PJ's on the top - but we're getting there LOL).

pyjamas if they want and it's not a school/nursery/work day. When it is it's get dressed before ANYTHING else.

Report
fannyannie · 19/02/2007 10:28

thing is though if you leave them in PJ's then suddenly find you DO have to go out - isn't it just a hassle having to rush to get them dressed there and then - rather than just throwing shoes and jackets on????

we all get dressed, but maybe later when it's half term and weekends

Phew, I was beginning to think I was a bit strange!

PJs for breakfast and playing indoors, then we all get dressed when we have to go out. Me and DS are often seen answering the door to the postie or putting out the bin in our PJs.

If we aren't going out they can get 'half dressed' DSs hate wearing trousers so I let them wear t-shirts and boxers. DD always gets dressed because she's a bit all or nothing, she either has to wear all her clothes or run about starkers.

Bah, pjs unless we have to get dressed... or more often than not naked (them, not me... me naked makes DS think its open bar).

DS can stay in a sleepsuit all day depending on my mood (normally if I am wanting to be in bed, then he gets to be snuggly!).

my 13 yr old ds lolls around in his pants if he isn't going out

Report
Jelley · 19/02/2007 10:49

DDs get to choose. Which means pjs all day if we're in for one and sometimes dressed by lunch time for the other.

DS lives in sleepsuits (12 months). If we go shopping/school run, and he has coat and cosy toes on in the buggy, who's to know, and who cares if hes' warm and clean.
I dress him if we go out to play.

I get dressed most days

Ds1 refuses to wear trousers in the house, but I'm with fannyannie (just love the name), if I decide to go out I want to take the least amount of time to get out of the house

cuddle, breakfast, shower and fresh clothes everyday. Takes all morning on weekends, because phase 1 & 2 are much longer.
I so envy those who can also manage hair and make up every day!

believe me make up is a 3 min job foundation, blusher (look like a vampire has got to me otherwise)lipgloss and mascara and had my hair cut into short bob when pg specifically so it took 5 mins to dry, my hair looks like crap if i don't wash it daily

Too twee I think..... can't see myself doing it with my two... sorry for hi-jack!

The thing is, when you are shopping with two and you see an item of clothing one of them might like, the OTHER one then REALLY wants one the same...
