Where have you been Mumsnet?

What happened yesterday? No 'Talk' on Mumsnet! I kept checking all day and still kept getting the 'server busy' message. That stupid pop-up still managed to appear though!

Now there are no active conversations or last day/last week listings. I hope it gets back to normal soon.

Ah you had it too PamT - I thought it was my computer. I still get Saturday's home page when I log on but thankfully managed to get to the threads today. Was getting withdrawal symptoms!

Hi everyone,
We had a server problem over the weekend. Unfortunately we were unable to do anything about it until today. Hopefully it's all fixed now.

Best wishes,
tech

'Add a message' - those three little words mean so much.
Sadly I am pushed for time now so can only do a quick skim through. How frustrating.

Hooray hooray and phew. The withdrawal symptoms were painful indeed!

Dear Tech - please don't let it happen again or we'll ahve to send the girls round!
I was like a little lost soul wandering the house trying to find something to do. 'Can't you go on some other message board?' asked dh helpfully.
'NO! You don't understand!! - None of the others are like Mumsnet' I replied!

I couldn't get talk till today - drove me mental.

Thought it was just me that couldn't get it and was envisioning hours trawling through everything I had missed.

Glad normal service has resumed.

i think that those who haven't subscribed yet, but missed mumsnet so much over the last two days should think about subscribing.

I thought for one awful moment Mumsnet had disappeared for ever, I was bereft!

Did manage to have a conversation with Rhiannon though, found her by subterfuge!!

Glad all is well with mumsnet!

Likewise - was beginning to have panic attacks that the Mumsnet team had run away!

I got such a LOT done at work today, but the expression on my face would have stopped a clock (I was told).
Also completely identify with misery of having to talk to dh and ds instead of posting about them.
How nice to see you back, Mumsnet!

Couldn't get Mumsnet until Tues morning here - desperate stakes! I was forced to do family things and read books and so on. I didn't manage to write a letter to my mum, though - she's launched a veritable cascade of them onto me and due to our being virtually under house arrest with the security situation I've nothing at all tell her - except that Mumsnet has been down, mebbe?? Somehow I don't think she's understand....

I managed to get on for a couple of minutes very early on Sunday morning and again very early yesterday morning then it all disappeared again. That stupid pop-up kept coming up to torment me though.

I also use another message board (forgive me for my sins) and that was down all day yesterday too - so I really was in withdrawal.
