I'm up for it, but we do have a ridiculously busy summer ahead, so in practice it may not work out.

I think Littlelapin and Joolstoo and Wendyweber were planning to meet up when LL is there on holiday. But we may be away then.

The best week for us would be 30 July - 5 August.

Hiya Chatee!
Which weeks are you away or around? Then we can co-ordinate preferences and arrange something suitable.

We are away that week LL, but I'm sure others will want to meet up.

We're at Glenridding 4-5 August. Meeting dh's hillwalking friends, so if I can run away and meet MNers it would make a pleasant change from talk of Wainwrights etc.

Yes to everybody!
Any more for the skylark?

It sounds like a meeting early August might suit lots of people.

Please post ages of children here, so that we can come up with suitable venue suggestions:

I may be interested if it was South Lakes.

Mondays and Tuesdays are good for me

DS will be 1 in 3 weeks (can't you tell I am excited about his birthday )

Most of us are south lakes ?

Diva if I could borrow my mams car you could come with us?

Thanks for bumping Rosin.

My kids are away 19-whatever the friday is
and we are busy the week before. The week before that dd1 is snorkeling 9-10 but that won't be much of a problem. (your lads aren't interested are they Roisin?)

MrsWho, dds aged 5 & 7

mrswho-thanks,that would be great,i will probably just bring ds2 and dd3(4 yr old and 4 month old).

Oh thanks! I picked up a leaflet about snorkelling etc. on on Sunday, but haven't actually sat down and looked at it! You've reminded me to go and find it.

We are actually only 'around' with no plans for one week of the holiday
So it may not fit in!

DS2 is scared of heights and wanted to do climbing I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not?!

I like the idea of the kids-only swimming though. Is it Tues/thurs?

Report
MrsWho · 27/06/2007 21:57

Yeah dd1 will be going to the swimming but dd2 is 4 weeks too young! Same with the climbing as she wanted to do that too

The other activities don't fit into our busy summer schedule! DS1 did snorkelling before, and loved it.
