Morning all [glowers]

Here's the spreadsheet once again

Hope you all had a good week and that it shows on the scales! It's a tricky time of year as we head towards Christmas, with all sorts of lovely goodies to tempt us.

But only three more weeks to go! Still time to lose another 5 or 6lbs ...

good luck everyone

Sorry. I meant Flowers rather than to glower at you all!

Morning! 2 lbs off again for me AND I managed to get into a pair of trousers I haven't worn for a long, long time over the weekend. Am delighted and rather smug. Given the above, Flowers seem more than reasonable!

Please can someone add 125 to the spreadsheet for me.

I49 no loss for the last three weeks - I am loosing the will to live - maybe this is my body's happy weight!! I feel smaller and bones are beginning to protrude slightly more than they have for a while and my tummy is flatter - Over the first 4 weeks there was no alcohol at all, and no carby twattery, and then last weekend there was alcohol (vodka, lime and soda and two glasses of wine) got into a great routine food wise and I feel great but I want to see results god-dammit - I am hoping for another 5-7 pounds off to give myself a "Christmas Buffer" so damage control in January is minimal!!

Could someone put me in at 129 please? My own fault, I haven't been strict enough and running isn't working by itself. I do wonder if having been on citalopram for a while has had an effect on weight gain, it's much harder for me to lose at the moment and I'm not gorging on crap nor eating bread, pasta etc.

Today I've had a coffee and a boiled egg, will have something proper when I get in. Pint of water.

There are indeed recipes, 2kids! Here's the recipe thread

plumstone don't get too downhearted - it's the infamous week 3, 4 and 5 impasse that happens to many of us. KOKO - you know it works - and you should see the scales start to move for you again

Well done on those losses!

I weighed in today since starting last Tuesday and showing a massive 9lb loss. No doubt this will adjust itself over the next two weeks, but given me a good boost Smile

2 lb off for me this week. I was hoping for a bit more, but although I haven't had any carby food, I've been a very poor routine this past week. And I haven't drunk enough water.

This week I only have one choir commitment on top of usual rehearsal, so I will commit to having 3L of water a day and proper mealtimes.

Well done all on the losses, very inspiring.

I do need someone to glower at me, I've not been having a successful BC at all so far! I'm at 159, which is 0.1lb down on last week, but very annoyingly still 3.4lbs up on the previous weight (which I also saw mid-week this week). I'm guessing the variation is partly hormonal, but it's getting on my nerves! I know I haven't felt as in control as on the previous BC, and I've been sort of low-level comfort snacking, especially in the evenings - mostly BC food like cheese or nuts or dark chocolate but unnecessarily and it adds up. I'm also feeling less inclined to go to the gym and I'm doing easier classes (and avoiding spinning!).

Determined to see a proper loss before Christmas, so I got really organised yesterday - my shopping came and I cooked a big LC moussaka that will see me through to mid-week for dinner. I meal planned and ordered next week's shopping too. I'm saving a dark choc treat to Friday and will either have Greek yog or a herbal tea in the evenings this week. (I know, I'm trying to get out of the sweet treat = reward mentality, but my psyche isn't having it at the moment!) . I've got a cluster of December birthdays/social events coming up, including mine, so I know the weekends are going to be tough - so it's even more important I stay on track during this week and next!

I'm still poorly, so barely eating at all. Not doing this any justice, but haven't been eating fruit. Full fat things only. Butter. Small adjustments so I can hopefully kick ass at this LC malarkey!!

5lbs off for me! Not being well has only one advantage Xmas Grin

Evening!

I don't know whether or not I have actually lost some weight, but a dress that was too tight is now back to fitting well, so perhaps I have?

Yesterday I had a spectacularly bad day. I gave into my period cravings. I hate myself for it, but hey ho.

Today's food
B: bacon and creamy eggs, butter
L: spunach, chicken and cucumber, mayo. Pork scratchings
D: broccoli and beans with a creamy chicken and mushroom sauce
2 boiled eggs

Less than a lb for me - I've not been as careful and have done less exercise as I don't like winter. I could do better when I'm at home or eating out but I'm happy with my progress so far.

Are we supposed to exercise as well? No sugar AND exercise? What is this, hell?

Congratulations to everyone on their losses!

Exercise?? Too much for me at the moment, but I'm intending to start with walking/couch to 5k in the new year.

Yesterday's food

B - coffee with cream
S - 2 babybel, snack pack olives
L - turkey slices, mayo, salad, 1/2 avocado (4.30pm)
D - bolognese sauce, mixed fried veg (9.30pm)

Work yet again prevented me eating at proper mealtimes, but I felt good that I two separate meals, and I had lots of water yesterday.

Report
Callmesausage · 29/11/2016 08:19

Trying to do 10,000 steps per day, but nothing more than that. Like DearPrudence will start something in the new year.
