oooooo - d'ya reckon someone called her a troll on her first visit and she took the hump
Stupid mare - obviously didn't stick around long enough to see the TrinityRhino support thread, or the Christmas appeal thread or any of the myriad of kind threads.
Of course we bitch sometimes - that's what most of us do in RL as well with our RL friends sometimes isn't it????????? (well I do sometimes

maybe they would prefer netmums?
(must not forget the smiley
)
So, the Daily Mail turns on Mumsnet?
It was only a matter of time.

and if she doesn't talk about clothes, children, baby names, and the whole other myriad of things she mentioned in that piece of shite - what does she talk about with her RL friends.
Oh yeah - she hasn't got any so does't need to worry about that

She obviously prefers netmums.
Who cares.
She's just an ex MNer who happens to have a job as a journalist. She's welcome to have her opinion.

nah - she can't like netmums - she doesn't like all the acyonymns that are found on any parenting website you care to visit (DH, DD, etc etc etc)

Hahaha, what total crapola.
'Let's just say the overall tone of the posts is somewhat smug. Then again, they are penned by grown women who have given themselves such online aliases as FizzyLiz, Jellybean, FlamingoBingo and RosiePosieFlump'

She sounds Very Cross.
She really didn't get to know the real MN when she was here but tbh when I first found MN (3 years ago) it was intimidating for a newbie and I ran away scared and didn't come back for 2 years.

Oh that is a very amusing article. I am not sure that in all the press witterings over the last few weeks I have seen someone miss the point of Mumsnet so wholly and thoroughly as Sarah Chalmers.
"And be reassured - us mums aren't all as pedantic and kiddie-obsessed as the Mumsnet crew."
Bit rich coming from the woman who has written such articles as...
What does your pram purchase say about you? Us kiddie-obsessed?
PTSITIGTV? I've obviously been on the wrong threads
I expect she feels a whole lot better now.
That isn't mumsnet she is describing at all- I think she got the wrong site.
