She gave an interview saying he was 'part of her life' and that she didn't miss out on being confined to her cell. Yeah, that sounds sort of Stockholmy.

She's been sent to counselling.

I've heard enough. I think the media need to back right off. But I seriously doubt they will. Especially since the girl kept a diary during her time with him.
I hope she can live a relatively normal life after this away from media, her parents and counsellors.

Her dad has apparently already negotiated sale of her story for £70k.

Not surprised she wants time away to come to terms with things.

I wish they'd get over her weighing less now than when she disappeared. I weighed about the same at 18yo as I did at 10yo but I was a chubby/fat 10yo and a skinny 18yo (although still had thunder thighs IMO)!

maybe she blames the mother a bit? she was reunited with the dad but i didn't see any mention of her meeting the mom and if they had a huge fight that morning beofre she was abducted...

she won't want to know her parents because (in her mind) they couldn't find her, they didn't save her, they abandoned her to a stranger and she probably remembers very little of them anyway.
also we have no idea what he told her about her parents do we?
i would hope there can be some reconciliation for the parents sake alone but i doubt it somehow.
she is an adult now anyway.

Just wondered cos a clip of the news I saw said that her identity was confirmed by her passport found in the cell, so she must have had it with her when she was abducted.
