Posted this on the other thread 'Sky news helicopter currently showing 'activity' at Clifford's home suggesting they are searching his property. I suspect that might well be a huge part of why this action has been taken by the police, on top of whatever allegations have been made about 'sexual offences'. Can you imagine what Clifford has in his filing cabinets, especially under 'recent enquiries'... '

oh the irony - he was there pretending to be concerned for his poor 'iddle clients who didn't ask for birth certificates and it seems it was his closet he needed to worry about.

On the Beeb they made a reference that Operation Yewtree is not exclusively investigating underage sexual assaults. In the same breath, they said he'd been arrested. So I guess they're hinting they have some kind of dirt on him and will use it as leverage to get him to talk (plea bargain).
