morning all, internet was playing up last night and couldnt get back on.

swan dd's party went very well thank you, we went 15 mins over on the time and she keeps asking for another

galen good idea re the girly weekend and parents coming to visit.

tmh yay for ds2 clever lad

laura i felt like that too when i first started flying, it did get better once i got settled into the routines and wasnt so amazed by how much i could do in 15 mins

today i have done
sort dry washing
load washer
strip my bed
breakfast dc
get dressed

now have to
put sofa covers back on
wash up
tidy
hoover
clean bathroom
missions
make dc lunches
get dc dressed
my breakfast ( i always run out of time for this so gonna make it something i do before i get on with anything else!)

i'm taking my nan shopping today so will see how much i get done before i leave then decide what else i can get done

Hi, I've come to get some moral support to get me back on track with the house.I used to FLY years ago but have let it go by the wayside and now feel all I do is clean but to no avail. Once my minded child is asleep and ds is at nursery I will shine my sink!

Laura - I could never get things done when dc were small. Even now its basic routines really when we get in from work/school. I haven't detail cleaned in years and rarely do a mission . It takes me all week to do the house blesss lol. I don't think it matters though .

mm and fabbakergirl Hi! This thread is the BEST and will do wonders to help you get on top of things, not to mention be a fabulous place for support whatever life throws at you!

Well things going better so far today. Not a great nights sleep, DD4 woke several times - her sleep is always effected by stress/change eg DH going away, car trouble, me being low etc...
Then DS2 up at 5.30 am again...sigh BUT he did snuggle for a bit, then we had lots of tickles and giggles in the bed

AND best of all THE CAR STARTED! so DC 1-4 now all deposited at school, with healthy lunch and in clean uniform
Not aiming for much more than that today!
I did have a shower (not easy when DH away LOL!) and even moisturised LOL
DS2 napping,DD4 now watching DVD with a lollipop whilst I have 10 mins and a cuppa!
Will make chicken pasta bake for tea in a bit....may do another load of washing, and have some washing I will TRY to get away...

Feeling better on the whole, going to make sure I rest today - off to snuggle on sofa with DD4 next!
At least some semblence of normality has returned to the household today though!

Argggggggggggggggg DS2 most beloved comforter - a very loved bear, aptyly names tatty princess has been dropped in my tea She now needs a bath and I have just put a load in the washer. DS2 is bereft - tis the conly one of his bears that we do not have a standby off.

I didn't get much done. Spent most of the past hour on the phone, but car insurance is sorted for a bit anyway. We have sold our car It is going at the end of the month when the mot expires, and then we will be car free (dp still has his work van but with two seats it isn't much use for the five of us!)

My sink is shiny, though

Well dame, I feel very despondent at sight of a house festooned in laundry and gumboots, yukky loos, old cereal.

But now I am going to put it away as fast as possible before doing any actual cleaning.

went out last night to meditation group and feel stressed by all the things that now haven't been done last night when I was out..

now two invitations for Sunday brunch and tea, both other side of London, can I face both or I am just a wimp to not keep in touch with people.

sent ds2 back to school at 10.30 after suspected upset stomach - he's recovered and was racing dd down the street on way to dentist.
