I had a really off night too. I was in a lot of pain on the left and then at some point in the night lost a load of fluid from that side and have kept on losing throughout the night and morning.

I woke both the boys and have kept DS1 home from preschool, as I couldnt really drive or push the buggy withopur soaking myself

Mum is not well, so plan is for DH to come home after lunch and look after DS1 and change the bedding - I have popped it in the washer.

MIL will have DS2 for the afternoon.

I have spoke to the hospital and the fluid is better out than in, so no worrys there and I am also there in the am for stitiches.

So it will be an easy day in the madhouse, infact DS1 is on the wii and DS2 is watching the wiggles.

Hi All.

DD1 off school again. DD2 was sick in the night but seems to be recovering and is starving. I've just been to GP and have antibiotics as throat infection is going to my chest as usual.

Quiet day planned. Trouble is when the kids start getting better they get bored and start squabbling. Wish I could just go to bed....

Name a bear and stuff a bear party Prof?

Nice morning drinking coffee with friends and discussing relatives religion and relationships the 3 R's of female discourse (round here). Dd had a high fever yesterday after Brownies, but I think just a minor virus, no vomit, so she's at home on sofa now eating toast.

These projects Ruby, home education without the perks if you ask me.

Now, not quite sure what I am meant to be doing.

Have started day by throwing mess into a cupboard, and have false illusion of tidy house.

So I need to
defrost beans and tomato sauce for supper
make some bread with refound yeast
read books with dd
put excess party stuff in loft and move bookcase!!!!!
re-sort dd's room to accommodate her presents
put away some of her toys completely in loft
put some compost in a large trough
hang out washing (it is raining here too

Bookclub later on at a friend's house(book finished tarantara actually I had read it when I was 20)

EHM and TMH, it is a relief not to take them tschool some days isn't it. Hope ds1 managed tto get out even if he got a bit wet and muddy, it's very difficult isn't it - they are like little dogs needing to run run run all the time?

ahem. what is the theme?
Because if they are only three/four they might not notice. If they are 6 they might notice but not care...
I would make up very very mingy party bags and not worry about food boxes being themed.

Report
swanriver · 26/03/2009 13:23

If it is a bear theme, it could be just that bear is having adventures? with other characters?

Afternoon all.
mad thanks for thread. Sorry about pain and oozing. Hope you get some rest and all settles down
ehm yay for snuggly lie in!
EV hope all better soon
Prof you're sounding very bright today. A 3 month project for a 9 yr old That just wouldnt happen here - it would definately be forgotten/lost/rebelled against/drawn on by a toddler/or eaten by a baby after about week 4 !Oh bears sound great too!
swan yay for book read, and pretend tidy house. Home Ed projects are GREAT fun, but only cause you get to choose how to do them, what they're on, and when to give up LOL
scatty glad you had a nice night out!

Running a bit behind here today! DD1 announced - as we were pulling up outside school, she had a letter - said it was their class mass in Church today and they hoped to see as many parents as poss. GGrrr I hate when they forgetto give me letters - must get back into book bag checking routine LOL
So delayed start to day by spending an hour at Church - Littlies really not in the mood so it was hard work!

Then went to get DS2 his first ever pair of proper shoes. Aaawww. Dont normally get fussed by this any more, but he is our last baby so it was quite cute!
Also had to get some tights etc... for the girls.... so got all that done eventually

Now home - need to do quick tidy. Lunch done - DS2 suppposed to be napping but has just started whingeing....

Parents eve this evening for Ds1, Dd1 and DD2 so will be chaos! Have to meet DH there at 6pm.... need to pack lots of stuff to enetrtain kids in the corridor.... oh boy!
Need to go sort super quick and easy dinner... off to search cupboards...

Right MUST dash! Have good afternoons all!
BBL hopefully unless parents evening a disater!

Still brooding on party bags, think they just like the excitement of the unopened bag whether it contains one sweetie a pencil sharpener and hairslide or any number of exotic expensive treats.

ribbon for teddy, and food(sweetie) for teddy in bag as surprise? But agree BEAR is quite enough of a lovely present to be taking home.

Dd is fast asleep,
Galen, Ds1 went to a Reconciliation service this week, but I only found out about it afterwards as was at the Methodist Church last Sunday for Brownie parade. Getting more and more out of sync with liturgical calendar.
Think I am going to lie down now too. Up to late last night.
First knead dough.
