Morning Ladies,

I have both DS and DD1 sick again now, just as I thought DD1 was over it, she comes home from school yesterday and was sick She was so poorly she took herself to bed and missed supper.

It is such a bizarre bug! They are both absolutely fine (you should hear them jumping around the place now!) until just after lunch, when they zonk out, complain of a stomach ache, and spend the rest of the evening being sick and lying motionless on the sofa.
Has been going on since a week last Saturday for DD1!
All off school today for a doctors trip.

Must go into town too at some point, cheques to bank and I need to go to the student union office to get my tokens changed from the may ball....I have £18 worth to change before Friday. Its hastle, but £18 is £18!

Mission
Had no idea that tumble dryer dust could set your house on fire! Am sudenly very glad our TD lives in the shed.
Morning all, hope everyone is well. Just caught up on last night's thread. Sounds like everyone had grumpy DC's - only 10 days till half term so maybe they're all getting tired?
Anyway, yesterday's list worked well and kept me on track so here is my new list for today:

To Do
Wash dishes
Feed DD (she's still asleep )
Get toys out for mums and DCs coming round this morning
Defrost something for tea
Clean fridge
Write shopping list

Will update you all when I've achieved something! See you later.

FLYing through after wotk and on my way out.I have an hour t clean and eat

Ruby- Our safety net has also gone (what little we had) and dps car is still in the garage as we haven't got the money to pay for the work that has been done. Ok. Sorry that isn't reassuring, that is me moaning....at least you kno you aren't alone
I'm trying my best not to stress and worry about it as I know that won't help and only makes me feel worse. Can you pay in installments or delay payingit for a bit? I did that with our last utilities bill and by the time the red bill came I had paid two thirds of it off.

IC - I am also going to do ashort list of jobs to do today....

get meat out of freezer for kids tea
make cake
make bed
wash up
ring dp
take photos of ds in his new nappy
put shopping away.

Ruby
God what a shock are you sure it isn't a mistake by the company? I live in fear of this happening, we only have a small buffer since I decided to be a SAHM and things just seem to be getting tighter and tighter. I am getting obsessed about saving as much as poss "just in case" and its doing DH head in

bathrooms now done
mission now done

currently eating lunch with DS (ham and cheese toasties) then its off for his nap and on on with the OU - I will need to do a PGCE dylsmum

making homemade fishcakes for tea

I think a trip around the house lookng for Ebay stuff to sell is also in order.

Hello all.
Ruby That's awful, what a horrible shock. I had to ring our water company last week as I realised they hadn't been taking our direct debit since we moved house. They're going to send us a bill but said we can pay in installments as it's likely to be quite large (we've lived here nearly 5 months now) Hate worrying about money - it's one of those things you can't do anything about but just makes you stressed all the time.

Had some friends over for coffee this morning which was lovely and have also managed some of my list!

Wash dishes Done
Feed DD Done
Get toys out for mums and DCs coming round this morning Done
Defrost something for tea Done
Clean fridge Done
Write shopping list

So, need to do shopping list and try to persuade DD to have a sleep. She's really tired as hardly slept yesterday and woke up 3 times in the night but is all over-tired and not settling. Also, now she can crawl she ends up in lots of weird positions in the cot and I think she wakes up and doesn't know where she is

I am back - Sorry for any spellings in advance

Ruby I totally understand re not having a saftey net, we dont have one any more and it feels unnerving.

Anyway - I am OK, it wasnt a particulatly plenesnt experiance, but bowel and colon are a Ok. I didnt have the full sedation due to previous reaction to the medication, but I managed.

Tummy is strange, but it seems I was born like that. I have a extra large bi-lateral hernia disecting part of my tummy, which made the proceedure extreamly hard to do and also take 3 times as long as normal.

The consultant has taken some biopsiys of my duadenum to be on the safe side, but it all looks OK.

I am feeling tired, but OK. I am off for a bath and to put PJs on as I was sick in my hair.

Ruby I feel for you. Ask the domestic Bill provider if it is correct and if you could repay in installments, that way you could still have your small slush fund. What a bastard tho for you

Gem I'm a serial squirreller of cash myself. It's always me who gets looked at when there is a BIG BILL or a LARGE REQUIREMENT. The holiday is saved for already and I have a couple of slush funds for biggies. I'll be pleased if I get some regular part time work after the summer tho.

TMH Glad it went OK at the hospital for you, it's not nice (DF had it done a few years ago and refers to it as 'the instrument of death') Please take it steady and look after yourself now

Bit behind with the FLYing today. I went to see GM and GD. Things a bit tectchy. GF wont stop/constantly tinkers with stuff and GM basically has an 82 year old toddler to look
after and that's getting to her. GF has a form of dementia and sometimes the poor soul just looks....bewildered

Got home at 2, had to grab lunch then sort out a parcel delivery for DH (yeah, I'm exchequer and PA as well at Grouchy PLC) then collet Ed. Another glowing report from his teachers so Ed wants me to stay with him in the office while he plays so at least I get MN time.

so TO DO

Vac downstairs
Mop downstairs
Empty DW
Put away
Water plants
Bring washing in
Organise it
Dust round front room
Make lunches for tomorrow
Sort clothes for tomorrow
Bathe Ed
Stories and school work.

I'll see if I can slip away and get cracking
