Morning Guys.

DH has a pile of clothes in the bedroom so I'll try and sort those tonight. I'm a bit overwhelmed with washing though as I'm doing spare bedding and also baby duvets and sheets.

Stressed out here and it's only day 2 of half term. DD1 seems better but now DD2 is full of cold and has just gone down for her nap. at 7.20!!

We had a good day out yesterday, and have an activity booked at the library today, so I will be FLYing this morning, while the dds use the computer. I might be allowed back onlinr at 10.00 so I will come and report back then.

Morning All

Morning FGS I'm always overwhelmed with washing too...I have a back log as I washed the kids rugs and cushions etc yesterday, so the general wash went on stand still.
Will try and catch up with it today.

Bianca 3 hours down the park!...well done you I get fed up after about half an hour! (mind you I have a toddler I am continuosly having to follow round as she tries to do everything the others do....but is still a bit too little.....which annoys me after a while )

Well, I had better get on, kids aren't dressed yet and I have to wash my hair.

Hello

Thanks for the thread FGS I'm a bit overwhelmed by washing too, I think it's because I did none over the weekend - it's suprising how quickly it all builds up!

Jas Have a good morning. I've forgotten to look at activities at our library, you've reminded me to have a look later.

Luda 3 hours was too long! I was cold and tired by the time we came home and couldn't warm up all day. I had just been sitting on a bench chatting to other mums for most of that time though

Dd is off to play with a friend today and ds has a friend coming here for the morning. I hope the boys will play well so I can get some jobs done but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I need to do some real (paid) work too if I can.

Better get on, I need to wash my hair too this morning.

See you all later x

Morning all. Todays another hectic day for us, we are out at 10am at a friends house and then have visitors all afternoon!

Can not say the house is immaculate but its ok (ish) and its so nice not to be in a total panic about the state of the house.

Have a good day

Up and about all day

Well DS and DD1 are both at nursery/school, DD2 is watching Balamory.
The house is in need of a whip round, washing is on (lots of that to do today)

I have only just noticed the Christmas MN Appeal! I hardly ever check the Active Convos anymore. It has a little pin on it! Cool.
Is anyone doing it this year?? I donated last year, it was a lovely feeling and my MNetter was very sweet and wrote a lovely thank you.
I'm opting out this year though, our cash flow is quite drastic and as most of our arguements revolve around money, I don't think DH will be too pleased. I can't believe how close Christmas is!! Time is whizzing by

Anyway, I had better get on and tidy this sty up...I really don't feel like it lately!

Oh and has anyone heard from Tort? I haven't seen her around for a while.

Bianca - Please will you email me with your address, so I can send you some ps1 games? If you like I will give you a list to save posting things you don't want.

Luda - Tortoise still has no BB but was on briefly one day last week. Back from her holiday, and had a good time.
@ just noticing the Christmas appeal. I was on the receiving end last year (plus a small donation) and it was wonderful when we really needed it. This year I am giving to other mumsnetters, but haven't actually registered for the appeal. I'm just giving actual stuff to people I "know" directly, as I don't really have much money spare still.

I spent 7 hours outside in the local park yesterday (Big wildlife area and huge play area,9 children all playing together,) plusanother 3 hours in the indoor bit when it got dark. We left when it closed! I do like to get my moneys worth out of these days out, and the kids slept well last night!

Have a lovely holiday Yaddayah

I gave to the Christmas appeal last year, but sadly am not in the same position money-wise this year so will have to give it a miss The kids and I loved being secret santas last year

Jas I'll write an email sometime today. Thank you sooo much No way I can compete with the 7 hours at the park! Well done you

Yadda have a great time away

Luda Tort has been away for a week with the kids but is home again now. She's still on dial-up so not about as much as she'd like. I'll let her know you were asking after her

I've sorted some bits for work. Why is it other staff can't just do their own jobs instead of expecting me to try to do it?

First load of washing is in wm. Beds are made. Dw is emptied...rest of the house is a tip!

Thanks Bianca I should really drop her a line on facebook.

Well I have just bopped along to Valerie and folded 2 baskets of washing (which is sitting on the dining table )
Dh has the car today so I have to go and get the pushchair ready to get DS.

Must then get back and do lunch and get on with the vaccuming. I hardly get to use my own hoover at the mo...next door has broken hers so keeps asking me if she can borrow mine....and then my neighbour 3 doors down announced hers was broken and could she use mine tto. I really wouldn't mind so much, but both have dogs (and nothing derogitary against dog owners) but when I get it back and use it, it stinks!!!
I have been emptying it like the clappers recently!!!

I thought you would bianca I think we have similar musical taste!
You have to just get past the first couple of minutes of them fiddling about with the drums before it kicks in

I heard the massive aatack one on the radio at the weekend and thought God! I haven't heard that for AGES!

Afternoon all.

Yada Enjoy the photos, we had the boys done one and spent tonns of money.

Luda My hoover has broke too (well Dyson). I think yours is a long way to go to get one. It just keeps getting to hot and cutting out, so it means hoovering takes ages, but we have no cash so it will just have to wait.

It is not half term here until next week - very strange.

I have had a really odd morning, dishwasher did not work right - so took them all out and washed by hand.

Washed my car keys in my trouser pockets - so that is not working - pah

I have offered to be a santa - as I have loads of clothes and toys I could donate - never get a lot for them on e-bay so I thought I would try to be nice. It is cash that we are short of to get stuff for this year - but at least we have the main things, plus they are too little to understand really.

Now off to feed the mini's their lasagne is just cooling

Madhouse Mine is a Dyson too....which is the only good thing about it because at least I can clean the cylinder out properly....lots of hair and stuff comes back in it though...Infact my neighbour on the one side managed to almost fill it the other day!

I'm waiting in now for the man to come and look at the emersion heater AGAIN! He came and fixed it about a month ago...but it has gone again...not good, as DD2 managed to smear pretty much the whole of her breakfast round her head!

Bye heck, you've all been busy Well done everyone

Got everything done yesterday in the end (finished the vaccing off this morning tho) Ed and I are going to the 'event' at the children's centre this afternoon.

Seem to spend a lot of time tidying and cleaning but the house is never immaculate must be the 2 kids (Ed and DH)

Ooooh well the man has just been! That was quick!
Its all done!

He is comming back this evening to fix the lights in the hall and DD1's bedroom (they must be quite old, as the lightbulb fittings have cracked, so they don't hold the bulb anymore) I think our landlord is very lucky to have us as tennants....so far we have had the tap fixed in the kitchen....the emersion heater fixed twice....and the light fittings are about to be replaced!
I think I will have to bill him!
