Tips:

Completing the workbook

• Bullet point - don't write paragraphs.
  

• I did a minimum 3 bullet points per question but expand if you wish. In some sections I wrote quite a bit but that was personal choice.
  

• Refer to training courses, books, emails to school, communication with 3C's, GP, Healthcare etc.
  

• Although you may have experience of some things, refer to the training or books.
  
• Remember if you are referring to a child only use initials.
  
  Storing the Evidence
  

• Get a folder to store the documents
  
• Get clear pockets for the folder to store your evidence
  

• Put a number on each evidence piece
  
• Refer to the number when you complete the workbook
  
• You can use the same evidence more than once
  
  Evidence
  

• Emails to schools, your SSW, the child's SW, GP, 3C's etc.
  

• In any communication use a black marker over the childs name.
  

• Relevant books you have read - Receipts are good as evidence and a photocopy of the cover
  
• Your training course certificates - Copies as the whole thing will be given to your SSW.

Does anyone have a live example of the Fostering TDS completed workbook?
I am obviously not going to copy as our experieces are unique & individual & a reflection of our experience but just need to get the gist of it?
We have had a very disruptive & busy introduction to Fostering & our Annual review is looming!

Hi I have just started my TSD work book would really appreciate it if someone could send me a completed version so I can just get an idea how to answer a the questions will not copy your answers will put them in my own words and phrases them in my way just need some guidance as I am confused in how to put them down and in what format as it would help me as a guidance anyone please help

Hi. I'm new to this in desperation as I need to fill out my TDS in fostering by the end of the week but my Supervising Social Worker and her stand in's stand in are AWOL!!! Can anyone send me or direct me to a completed copy so that I can at least see if I'm on the right track? We've been fostering a 2 and 3 year old so some of the questions are way out of my comfort zone!! Thanks

Looking back through comments it seems there’s lots of us asking for help but no one seems willing or able to offer any. I’ve started opening the workbook at random places and filling out the question on that page! I can’t work through it in order. I get bored and bogged down with it. My goal is 1 question a day!!!!!
