I was on trazodone and had a truly awful time on them. They did work against depression very well, but made my anxiety symptoms much much worse, until I was really ill.

I stuck it out for 3 months, and then finally had them switched over. Have been on new ones 2 weeks, and feel crap AGAIN. There was a time last week when the anti-depressant effect of first one was still working, but this has now stopped.

Flat, empty, colourless, no motivation, anxious, really sick of feeling shitty. Surely there would be some response to new ones in 2 weeks.......

Clomipramine, prescribed by physc. They are one of the older ones, I don't like ssri's, they rev me up too much

100mg, up to 150mg when side effects become tolerable

I'm sorry you are having a tough time. Two weeks is about the very earliest you can feel benefit. And perhaps you will have more luck when you up the dose.

I really hope you feel better soon.
