onlyme - yes, I do have that feeling sometimes, in front and behind me there seems to be only fear. But on a good day, I can see more rationally that there have been many, many good days and that they will return.

Even if you cannot have faith that you will get better, try and have hope.

Light when you do feel happy, how does it feel? When I feel happy it scares me. Do you go with the feeling and enjoy it?

theres only - I am not sure I ever feel joyous, elated - to me a good day is when I feel calm, not anxious and can take pleasure in what I am doing, whether that is work, being at home or whatever.

But yes, I do go with it and enjoy.

See that's where I can't. I am scared to enjoy it as I assume it never lasts.

But that is the same for everyone, whether they suffer from anxiety/depression or not.

No-one really goes round with a permanent grin on their face, most people have OK days most of the time - a few laughs, a few grumps, maybe a few tears, happen each day. Occasionally they will have a fabulously happy day or a really miserable one, but accept it as part of life.

Because we have emotional issue already, we probably think and analyse too much instead of just 'being'.

I have been told before I analyse things too much.........
