Where can i get help for Emetophobia (sickness phobia)?

Hi, i suffer from Emetophobia (phobia of being sick or around people who are sick), this year my phobia has got so bad it has stopped me from going out, being near people and is effecting my relationship with my dd's. It effects me every day and it keeps me awake at night. I have been in bed with a bug for the past 5 days and realy believed i was going die as i get so anxious when i think im going to sick.

I have decided that i have had enough of this phobia and im willing to pay (private) to get help but i don't know where to start.

I feel like i need to get this sorted ASAP as i think its making me depressed and ill.

Please can someone point me in the rite direction? I am in the south/west but willing to travel for good treatment.

Thankyou so much for answering my post, i will be going to see my GP ASAP to try and get CBT, i was worried that the GP would not take me seriously and tell me to get over it.

DH was ill all day christmas day and spent the day in bed (away from me), i have found it hard to sleep as i worry the dd's will be ill in the night .

I cant wait to see the GP and get this sorted, i feel the new year will bring good things for me .

mumtoo3- i hope you are feeling better, i hate this time of year as there are so many bugs around, i wish i could hide away for a few months .
