Can you get psychotherapy on the NHS? for depression/gambling/obsessive compulsive out of control sort of things...

have very up and down personality.
have problems with food/drink/gambling....

need to sort shit out.

if i go see gp , will it be on permament record? like matter in future employment areas? and can you get psychotherapy on NHS. i know cbt wont work its all childhood adolescent related...

are there any AD for gambling?

think that SSRIs like Prozac can be used for compulsive behaviour. Obviously not sure what a GP would think appropriate in your situation. Like any GP appointment for flu/thrush/etc there will be an entry in your records. But unless you are in a supersensitive job wouldn't have thought anyone would be asking to access your records anyway. What sort of therapy is available varies a lot from area to area, but if you don't ask, you don't get as it were.
