Feel like Im on deaths door!

Woke up this morning, feeling very ill. Didnt have a good night last night, and feel really tired at the moment although I was in bed til 11:30 My nose is blocked, I had a headache, throats closed up, chest hurts, dd has made such a mess and I dont have the energy to do anything. Feeling very lonely too. Missed Tumble Tots again this morning.

You shouldn't have stayed in the 'bar' that long! Seriously tho'take it easy - leave the mess it ain't going anywhere! Hope you're soon feeling tickety-boo again

oh tammybear its sh*t isnt it! I had it two wks ago, and it really hurts. I lost my voice for 4 days, and just wanted to pull the covers over my head and cry. It is so hard on your own with dd i know, but i hope you have some support?
my ds adapted to me being sick, and learned to listen to my whisper - it really made me think was i too loud with him other times

I wish i lived near you we could have helped each other out, anyway ......lots of sympathy

thanks northstar, im hoping mum will come round after she's been at work. i feel quite drained atm but always have enough energy to post on here

awwww tb - you need hot water bottles, a soft comfy bed, plenty of fab videos and masses of tlc. (Oh and lemsip and vicks nasal spray - cant do without it during a cold!). Hope you are better really soon. xxxx

Have to say though, glad the is VR as i really dont want to catch it - sorry!!

thanks MIAM, nice to see you around again. feeling a lot better this evening, although ive gone through half my box of tissues just today and will be taking a hot water bottle with me to bed xxx

Tammy - you poor thing (have a cup of lemsip on me!). I have just recovered from this cold/flu thing and it is not nice. Get your mum around tomorrow if she is free for some TLC x

hey northstar just seen this. im ok, have my moments usually first thing in the morning that i look like i havent slept in weeks and look a real mess still having trouble breathing through my nose lol. but dd's caught it now but she's got more of a dry cough. mum did come round for a bit and i went to hers last night as i had college, but i couldnt sleep as i was in my old bed and it felt weird being in my old room although my sis has taken over it. dd was coughing all night and woke up at 3:30 and didnt go back to sleep til gone 5 Im so tired but hopefully ill catch up if she has a nap later
