I am not quite sure where to start, I am generally very happy with my life, I have 2 gorgeous kids, a great husband etc but sometimes I can't help feeling that some people seem to have a much nice life than me. I am a SAHM as my youngest ds is only one and I am not unhappy about that at all, don't miss work and love spending time with my kids. But going to playgroups sometimes makes me realize that some people have so much more, i.e. big houses, cars, cleaners, they travel to exotic destinations and just in general seem to have a nice life. I know that does not mean that they are happier than me and usually I would be ashamed about writing something like this as so many people are worse off then me, but if I look at my lifestyle (rented flat, no car, not a lot of money to spare) I am a bit jeallous. Sorry for the long mail, just needed to write this down, does anyone else sometimes feels like this and also feels guilty feeling like this?

we are such a commercial society and so many messages are fed to us about 'having it all' that it's not really surprising that you feel like this, just focus on your beautiful DC - I find that they seem to always have a habit of making you realise what is important in life...

lol
