My therapist is retiring next week. --FUUUUCK

I've been seeing her for years but don't know anything about what she likes (she's very very good at being a blank slate). I would like to give her a thank you/goodbye/retirement gift but I have no idea where to start.
Is it ok to give her a gift? And if so, what the hell can I give her if I don't know what she likes? She gets my references to novels and plays so I'm guessing they're an interest of hers, but that's literally all I've got to go on. I'm usually good at getting thoughtful gifts and this is hard. If I have to give her something generic, would flowers be ok? Any other suggestions?
