Unreliable cpn

My cpn cancels roughly half of all our appointments.

I suffer from anxiety (amongst other things) and I find this really stressful. I'm not sure whether to just ask her not to come anymore to avoid all the stress I get in anticipation of her visit.

The problem is I have no other help at all. The cpn is the only person who is ever nice to me (except the kids who are lovely). I'm really socially isolated and can go weeks without having an actual conversation with an adult.

What should I do? Does anyone have any good experiences of cpns?

Yes, mine is fab and always comes when she says she will and bang on time and she stays about 2 hours. Maybe talk to her and say cancelled visits make you more anxious - how often does she come - ask if it would make it easier for her if she came less often. It might be that she has an illness which means she has to cancel. Don't think asking her not to come is a good idea.

Thanks for your reply nananina
You sound like you have a set up that works for you.
We have appointments every 2-3 weeks but only see her every 4 or 5.

What kind of support does yours offer during her visits?
